  1. The Lakers should've tried to get him back – he's as good as Valanciunas and younger as well. Hopefully the Pacers will actually play him.

  2. Dude, I’ve be calling for the Lakers to trade for Thomas Bryant for over a year.

2nd round swap? Are you kidding?

  3. The Lakers could have traded Christian Wood and a second round pick swap to Miami and got Thomas Bryant. sigh

  4. Bryant is overrated and didn’t play well for us.

Laker fans need to stop talking shit on players, they leave, and then want them back.

Y’all were ready to trade KCP and Kuzma after their shooting struggles and playoff Ls.

Then y’all turn around and beg for them back. Pathetic. Get a grip.

  5. Good trade for both. Heat needed the roster spot for their surging guard dru smith which was on a two way

  6. How we couldn’t get Thomas Bryant back at the least… Lakers are really angering me at this point…. Rob Pelinka must go

  7. Lakers fans are delusional, I get to have LeBron James but that they think every trade rumor belongs to them call me when they have BS trade assets

  8. So Miami can trade Bryant for a half a second round pikc but we can’t get rid of Maxwell Lewis for the same and add mcgee to the team?

  9. What's Thomas Bryant's weakness since he's getting traded so much (Take the money out of the equation).

  10. U mean a decent back up center was available that has size n was traded for a 2nd round pick swamp… @ Lakers front office WTF r yall doing

  11. Would have been great if your front office is doing their job if your roster is depleted. The Lakers would ride and die with their roster and dont move a thing .

  12. Isnt it strange that all these lakers players, with the latest being Scottie pippen Jr (smh) being just let go or traded away as dispensable and then we see them have success? What is it about the lakers that the players while there struggle but then flourish after leaving? Lack of development on the lakers part (if the case fire whoever evaluates and develops), a curse, Playing in the shadow of James, James being very vocally tough on the young players (seen that often), laziness, or something entirely different?

There is quite a huge list of who has been sent packing during the James tenure and it isn’t a good look. Don t forget less than Magic Johnson who should never be able to coach or have any kind of front office position for the lakers again let go of Julius Randle outright. Not a fight, trade, sign and trade just nothing and there is NO JUSTIFICATION for it.

Whatever they do, they need to keep Christie, Reaves, Knecht at the very least and develop them. It is highly unlikely any big trade will be done because face it they can t bring in all they need to make them the number 1 seed and as such, it isn’t worth getting rid of 1st round picks for nothing.

I’d like them to see if the wizards would take any combination of 2nd rounders and 1-3 players from the following off of our hands: Vanderbilt, Hayes, Wood, Schifino, or Vincent for Valanciunas. I’d start Valanciunas if they got him and move AD back to pf or vice versa and put Rui on the bench. A trade like this would help immediately. Just doesn’t seem to be many smart trades available but the media sure would have us believe that we re desperate to dig a deeper hole and bring in guys like Chris Paul, George and other problematic players that won t get us there nor help much.

I think pelinka needs to go as well but at this moment he is at least not pulling the trigger on anything that will harm the lakers long term. He has said who isn’t going to be traded and that the future won t be mortgaged which is why we have seen so many laker players on others teams having decent success. I hope the lakers get it figured out because for now, jeanie and her blue print is butts in seats, jersey sales and make it rain $$$$$$$
