I honestly thought Warriors would go for both Schroder and Johnson as a lot of buzz was happening the last handful of days of the Warriors being interested in a couple of these Nets players they're reportedly shopping. Warriors if they acquired both of them basically would try to replicate what they had in 2022 with a deep back court trio of Curry, Schroder, and Johnson to match what they had with the trio of Curry, Poole, and Klay.
Schroder = Poole … but with less offensive upside but much better on defense.
Johnson = Klay … Klay even in 2022 was probably a better shooter but Johnson likely is slightly better on defense.
But the Nets wanted Kuminga, along with a veteran like Looney/Payton to match salaries, and probably at least a 1st round pick. Warriors I think would only package that and more for a legit star and Johnson is good but realistically he's a high end role player.
Honestly both Schroder and Johnson are high end role players and if Warriors added both in a single trade they are probably still aren't a legit tier 1 NBA title contender. At best realistically they're middle of tier 2 of NBA contenders this season in my honest opinion and that's not what the Warriors want after trading away most of their best trade assets in acquiring these two caliber of players from the Nets.
3:33 I would like to say the Warriors are actually a really good PnR team, it’s just Kerr does not run them and runs his motion offense. Whenever we do run PnR it’s almost a guaranteed bucket
Schroeder is a great player! Good defender! High IQ! If Lakers keep him, Lakers should be #1 in Western Division! Lakers are Cheap! Kuminga just above average player but NO super contract, athletic but average IQ! Curry’s it’s seems going down! He’s f*cked up against Rockets! Warriors should won that game!
Dude W trade for warriors melton isn’t going to play anymore this season and probably would not resign for less so basically 3 second rounders for a potential 6th man of the year I love what this team has done and they can still get jimmy butler which will make them probably the 2 seed behind the thunder

Dennis Schroeder is a perfect fit I was so happy to see the dubs acquire him he is going to help the team a lot
It still not gonna change anything unfortunately
Still got kuminga and first better get someone else
Love it!
I don't like him as an opponent, but I'll like him when he's on OUR team lolol 😅😂
Hated him in the '23 playoffs.
Gonna love him in the '25 playoffs! 😅😂🤩🤩
Golden state warriors have to change their playing style
Nets are rebuilding, makes sense to trade him to a contender he will be good or not since now playing for a contender

I still believe we need a center 🤷🏽♂️
Dennis the menace at his prime alongside Curry oh get your popcorn ready

This 💩 is not going to work it didn’t work with Dlow Didn’t work with CP3.
Hope they are using him as a trade asset for someone taller like a center or something 🤦🏽♂️😩
Were you interchanging “percent” and “percentile” towards the end? If not that, it was still super unclear.
If he's so great . . . why do teams keep trading him (?) 8 teams in 12 years (?)
Trade kuminga podz moody and some draft picks and go get jimmy butler and get this chip
Good trade for Warriors in real life. Bad for Dennis' value in fantasy basketball.
this is the first time ive ever seen the stat "potential assist" does that mean he created a wide open shot for another player but they missed it?
