Sengun let a bench player outwork him in every facet of the game. The rockets paid 2 players that are poor from the perimeter
I've been saying since last year that you need to get a shooter. No one in the team can shoot open threes, that's why Sengun is constantly getting double pressure under the rim.
Vanfleet is a trash he cant be that leader
They are a good defender but they need a coach who will improve their offense and develop reed and cam. Why not get steve nash

If Amen had as many touches as Fred he would have a triple double every third or fourth game with 2 steals and 2 blocks while shutting down the other teams best player.. but no we gonna play van fleet all year and run the offense thru the guy whos half the size half the speed and half the vision
Y'all Rockets fans not tired of Fred bad shooting over and over,, and JGreen. In the 4th the two combine was 5 for 23 for 13 points. Cam is instant offense. Fred doesn't play like a championship type player.DAMN, 3 for 15 and 1 for 11 is Fred stat line.

During the Warriors game Fred VanVleet had the ball in a Fast Break, Amen Thompson was ahead around the paint Fred VanVleet didn't pass the ball up the floor for the easy dunk for Amen 2 points.
So many times Fred VanVleet has not passed the ball to Jalen Green when he is open and shot contested 3 instead. That is bad decision making.

Rockets have to decide on a offenseive philosophy, this was the reason why i didnt want Stone to commit money to either Sengun or Green. We dont have an offensive identity, if you want Sengun to be the number 1 guy then go get players that can fit around him, if you want run and gun type offense and space out the half court and let your athletes like amen or Jalen get down hill, then go get players to fit with that.. All this trying to mesh together this Jalen and ALP is not going to work and is only decreasing their value. We wasted a draft pick on reed Shepard who was supposed to solve our shooting problems, I wanted Clingan cause i knew his defense would help us immediately, but Stone didnt want to upset the apple card by drafting a Center. At the least we could have drafted Dalton or Dillingham
Bottom line, the rockets have scorers who cant score efficiently. JG is not a good perimeter scorer, Sengun is a Center who can't score in the paint efficiently. The rockets best efficient scorer who isn't even considered a scorer is Amen… Let that sink in… So if i have to start Amen, over a brooks, Vanfleet, or Green, then how will my team get up enough threes to keep up? Spacing will be awful with both Sengun and Amen on the floor together.. we will increase our 2pt efficiency but loose against teams getting up at least 30 threes.. Honestly i think the rockets should build around Amen, with either Bari at the 5 or a lob threat big, and the rest shooters.. similarly like the bucks did with Giannis, i think Amen can be the next Gianni's
I am proud of them. They are too young to this stage and they played semifinal against probable winner. We will hear this team' name more in the next 10 years.

You and Jalen went 2-19 from deep. You’re both barely over 30% on 3 pointers for the year. Eason, Thompson and whitmore should be getting all y’all’s minutes. It’s ridiculous at this point.

As much as I support Alp, this game is on him. This is not the first game the Rockets cannot buy a basket, and we need Alp to be agressive. Stone needs to shield himself from drafting a bust in Jalen Green so he's not going to trade for a better SG. Alp needs to stop being a wussy and goes ahead and shoot the ball. I don't care the shooting percentage but it's unacceptable to only put up 16 shots in a game when he is the #1 option on the team.
