Bad shooting nights happen but as you said good teams compete even when the shots aren't falling. Kudos.
I listened to the Bucks podcast on their matchup with the Hawks….and someone asked the keys to the Bucks beating the Hawks. And one guy said making Trae Young a scorer vs. an assist first PG….and the other said…I think the Bucks have to stop Jalen Johnson.
My eyes popped wide because I was like, "This guy really gets it." My 2nd thought was, "But how?" How do you stop JJ? He doesn't score in a conventional way. Plus, he fills up so many Catagorys. So how do you stop 20ts, 12 Rebs, 7 assist, 2 steals, 2 blocks?!?!
Well, they did it, lol. But it was more of JJ stopping himself because he just wasn't aggressive enough. JJ can't shoot 15 times… he needs to be in the 18 FG range. I say that because even if he doesn't shoot, just the pressure on the rim alone, he opens up everything for everybody.
An aggressive JJ changes the dynamics of how teams play the Hawks. No different than how aggressive Giannis changes how teams play the Bucks.
Trae was really the only guy that had it going, Bogi had it going early too and I would’ve liked to see him play more
The offense was enough we missed too many free throws
Simply put the Hawks need a big who can dominate on both ends and a reliable back up point guard.
We need a shooter in our starting line up and Risacher is not it.
You say the Bucks took this game seriously. But Trae played 40 minutes.
Too many missed free throws lead to too many bad/forced shots! Everything that Lopez topuched seemed to go in!

As great as Dyson is Defensively..his O needs LOTS of work!

Bogi didn’t take a shot in 2nd half
I was very proud of the guys and the effort they put up. Bucks are a way more veteran team, so them performing better in the clutch, I expected. Our starting offense isn't good, and won't be good until Dyson, Zaccharie, and Jalen, develop more, and there's no guarantee they will, but if you want to maintain the level of defense and think more long term, it's okay to maybe give up some wins now, to get better. Trae was amazing. And it's young guys missing shots, that happens. OKC and Houston were missing shots all night too, (young teams as well) and Hawks were in the game the whole way. Again, I really enjoyed the Hawks fight,
Also, yes, Brad, Clint was REALLY good.
I hate they lost this game but I enjoyed the effect however if they made their free throws they win the game

Deandre ayton an Mathew thybules for capela,onyeka,garrison Matthews second rd pick. Center position is the weakest on the hawks deandre ayton has a 15 foot jump shot an can finish way better around the rim than both an has a post game both our centers don't have.
We need a new center asap such as Kessler,Claxton or Myles Turner and i would be ready to give up like: Kobe/Capela and a 1st for one of them
Risacher, man you gotta expect more from the fricking number 1 pick in the entire draft. Do more. Stop the excuses.
