Mo is always a good interview
Dell scores 2 points. As a starter this is unaccpetable. His career numbers vs this season are very similar and in some categories better when you take in he is playing 5 fewer minutes per game. Two glaring stats do stand out though. One, 3 point shooting percentage and two, number of shots taken. Mosely needs to figure this out. This is the perfect time for Dell to step up. He isn't the floor spacer he was last year, so he needs to make a difference in the paint and the mid range. He can be an excellent pick and pop guy. Maybe playing with the 2nd team would be a place to start.
Coach Mo has a true point guard on the roster in Matt McClung. Matt is a winner yeah he might not fit the long boys and defense of mind the Magic like to have but he is a scorer and he can handle the ball. I don’t see why they don’t play him for at least a couple of games to see what he can provide to the team. He been through a lot team after team and playing G league where he was MVP that means he has some kind of basketball IQ. Yet he is still trying to make the NBA see what he knows about himself he believes in himself or he wouldn’t go through all this since entering in the NBA. For Christ sake he even won slam dunk contest twice. If they not going to use him why not just cut him and let him go find opportunity somewhere else.

It’s been clear the past few years that Mo has the ability to put up these numbers with the touchs and plays called for him: problem is these guards can’t run an offense and get their best players involved, let alone be a threat themselves and get good looks and high percentage makes. We could’ve gotten a Westbrook, Tyus Jones, T.J Mcconnell, Schroeder, CP3, someone who can run a half court offense and can get their own shot, esp a non 3pt brick attempt, which this coach seems to love for some god forsaken reason idk. Might be too late, but Cole, Isaac, Jett, and black need to be involved in a package for one or two legit players in order to be a championship contender…
I don’t understand how a coach would allow his players to keep on shooting a basketball that’s not going in the goal but keep on asking them to keep shooting that’s called insanity doing something over and over and expecting different results when your players can’t shoot you should make them do other things to score the basketball instead of constantly just bricking every shots.. and as a coach, why do you have your centers and Biggs shooting threes
If I was the coach, my players would be so scared to miss a shot because they would be sitting on the bench next to me if you’re going to help us win, you can play if you’re not you can’t simple as that.. these type of players are going to get the coach fired
