What's the story with Cam Whitmore? Coach has to find a way to utilize him to help the team. He's a scorer, and we need that help when Jalen or any of the other guys are not hitting their shots.
I've been beating the drum not to make a trade to keep the core together, let the stars emerge on their own roster and I still want them to keep the core together but idk if good shooting is gonna emerge from this roster. Actually I'm pretty sure it's not gonna happen outside of Sheppard if he can find his groove in the near future but it definitely won't be this season so making a trade might be the best option. I would just hate to see them lose a big piece of the young core. Maybe they can trade Fred idk anymore but the shooting gotta get better somehow
The difference between the Rockets and the Thunder is that the Thunder have SGA. The Rockets donβt have an elite talent. Defense, grit, and heart are necessary for success. And the Rockets certainly have those. But to be a real contender you have to have at least one elite player. You really need two. But one is a must.
Jalen is not the guy to deliver consistent shooting. Just forget about him. Fred is also not a reliable shooter but at least you can ask him to assist his team mates when his shots are not going in.
