Victor Wembanyama’s Robin Is Officially Wrecking The NBA

#NBA #VictorWembanyama #NBAhighlights #SanAntonioSpurs #basketball

Victor Wembanyama is the future of the NBA and he has got the San Antonio Spurs looking at the big picture of another dynasty. The Western Conference is tough with teams like the OKC Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, and Minnesota Timberwolves fighting to emerge as opponents to teams like the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers in the East. But the San Antonio Spurs have added veterans like Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes to help Wembanyama and the Spurs young core which features Devin Vassell, Jeremy Sochan, Keldon Johnson, and now rookie guard Stephon Castle, who has been looking like the teams future next to Wemby.

Can Wembanyama and Castle actually become the Spurs star tandem of the future in the likes of Kobe and Shaq, Giannis and Middleton, or Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray? Or should the Spurs tank for another shot at drafting another top player from a stacked 2025 NBA draft class which features prospects like Cooper Flagg? The Spurs are out of the NBA Cup but they have a real chance of making the playoffs this season. Chris Paul, Stephon Castle, Harrison Barnes, Victor Wembanyama, and Julian Champagnie have been a really good starting lineup for the Spurs even as Greg Popovich has been sidelined.

Victor Wembanyama is viewed as a future MVP or Defensive Player of the Year but is Stephon Castle gonna be a star for the Spurs and can he be the second star next to Wemby? Castle has been showing up since he joined the starting lineup. He’s been able to lock up guys like Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic while also leading the Spurs in clutch points so far this season. In this video, let’s do a deep dive basketball analysis on the game of Stephon Castle and what he means for the team’s future alongside Wembanyama.

  1. You can always build around a great defense. This kid will surely be in an All Defensive First Team someday. His shooting will at least be average. His rim finishing will be his go to offensive move. And he is an underrated play maker. Add those together with experience and he will be an All Star together with Victor in their primes.

  2. If the Spurs somehow miss the playoffs and land in the lottery and get to draft someone like Aj Dybantsa or Nolan Traore, the Spurs will have the best young core in the league in a few years

  3. Castle is a beast. I was really surprised watching him play. He plays with pace when he gets to the rim too and is a monster on defense

  4. Wemby castle sochan are the start of a defensive juggernaut team, they are going to be the foundation for defense. Spurs gonna be top defense for yeaaars

  5. can’t wait to see these young spurs continue to develop. they have so much room to improve and will be a serious problem in the coming years

  6. After Vic, next in line is Devin without a doubt. Do your homework before you create content.

  7. Had VW-Sochan-Castle-Vassell-CP3 been able to play 65 games together, they would have won 50+ games. But Vassell cannot stay on the court and Sochan had a major injury. Castle will eventually end up being the 3rd "star" around WemVP. The second star next to VW is not yet on the roster. Stay tuned.

  8. They’re all 20 years old Sochan Castle Wemby what a great defense this will be before they’re Al only 23!

  9. Castle already has practically all the fundamentals of basketball. He just needs to improve his shooting. That's where he needs to make progress, and quickly, he'll become a hell of a player, able to string wins together. This will enable him to keep his team in touch with the best when they're trailing. He needs to spend 90-95% of his time practicing his shooting. Many things will become possible for the Spurs with a little luck, because winning the NBA title remains complicated.
Spurs lack this top-level third man averaging over 20 points. Wemby, Castle, with Dejounte averaging 22 pts, would have been perfect. A profile like Dejounte is a mix between the two, especially when Wemby takes a break, because the championship is long and intense.
