Be patient my man. Amen is only 21 yo (so is Jabari) and Udoka is laying the groundwork on defense first for these young guys. They are winning and learning this way. I LOVE it the more I watch it…just look at this year compared to last under Udoka. The Rockets are on pace to dominate the NBA, because they still have a lot of room for growth in their roster. They still have Reed and Cam (both 20 yo) to work into their system.
Bruh he is developing a FULL team of young men of like 22 and younger. Other than the very few FA pickups like Dillon, Vleet & Adams they are a draft built team that is only 4 years old. In the last 4 drafts the Rockets have 7 Top 20 picks, 5 of them are Lottery picks & 4 of those are TOP 4 OVERALL picks. They are loaded but didn't have a true coach or true vet leader until last year and look what happened, they didn't have a losing season and now in year 2 they are making the playoffs and possibly play in the Emerates Cup too 🏆. Massive difference. If they decide to let the 2 big vets go after this year the roster core would look like.
PG – Amen Thompson #4 (2023) SG – Jalen Green #2 (2021) / Reed "sharpshooter" Shepherd #3 (2024) SF – Tari Eason #19 (2022) / Cam Whitmore #20 (2023) PF – Jabari Smith Jr #3 (2022)) C – Alperen Sengun #16 (2021)
Amen is going to be one of the best 2-Way players in the NBA. Once he starts hitting his threes consistently it’s gonna be a big problem for the league!

Amen!
Could you please do a video on Goga Bitadze? I've always liked him and I'm really happy he's having opportunity to play.
Rockets need to bench VanVleet and Brooks in favor of Amen and Tari.
Why are they not playing cam whitmore???
Amen and green not fit with sengun

its the handle, thats the problem.
Agreed. Any possession where he is just standing jn the corner is a waste. He should be averaging a minimum of 30 minutes a game.
He's right where he should be right now. He will get his start next season. No need to bench our starters just yet like some of y'all are saying.
is he not "unleashed" or "freed"? He's basically rocket's 6th man right now…..
