Lively is the main one who needs to step it up. Plays too lax on switches with guards and barely contest drives to the rim against him. Enough with just a hand up and swat the ball.
Have to disagree. You have to play to the identity of your team. Our team's best players are all offensive-centric so to be the best we can be we need to be an insane offensive team. Defense obviously has to be good as well, but we have to win with an offensive identity imo
Looking at stats without knowing how they are derived causes us to draw incorrect conclusions. DAL offensive rating is elite because they are doing it in the more competitive western conference. The eastern conference has more bad teams so BOS, NY, CLE are going to be able to run up these point based metrics because they play bad teams like WAS/DET 4xs. Compared to a more competitive west where the bad teams are still competitive and they only play teams like WAS/DET twice

Mavs just need some conditioning and toughness and they'll be fine. Offense looked a lot better after 5 days rest, they've still not peaked.

Agreed! When they lost to OKC we were clearly “out-defended” …we have to step it up to bet them, Cleveland and Boston.
