We Need to Talk About Jaren Jackson Jr.

We Need to Talk About Jaren Jackson Jr.

Jaren Jackson Jr. has been an unstoppable force so far this season, and it’s not just on the defensive side of the ball. The Memphis Grizzlies currently sit at second in the Western Conference, and it’s due in large part to how Jaren Jackson Jr. has evolved his game in his short career.

  1. consistently blessed with the rate of your uploads! great stuff per usual! wonderin, would you ever do a longer format video? if you did, what do you think that would look like? thanks again for all your work!

  2. 4:50 I feel like Aldama really ties this frontcourt together. He can't really defend, but his shooting seems improved and he'll grab boards (and he's relatively durable). Fills in the gaps nicely between Edey (maybe injury-prone) and JJJ. Though it's his contract year, and apparently he wants to start.

  3. With JA now focuses more on distributing to set everybody up and we all saw how Bane would perform in the playoffs because of the limitations of his talents, I feel like they still need a true sf who can playmake and beat teams with elite rim protection to get to the next level. This probably won’t happen because of financial constraints but they might wanna consider Brandon Ingram if the price is low

  4. Two things strike me about me JJJ.

His ambidexterity is really impressive. He can drive, block, dunk and hit hook shots and floaters with his left hand at an impressive rate.

Second, he's really, REALLY strong. Both in the post, and in the drive. It's startling how much muscle he's packed on since his rookie year.

  5. I still hate the fact that dude can't rebound. Like just why? He's 6'11 yet can't clean the glas?! cmon now. Bigs who plays like they 6'1 are fcking annoying like there are guards who out rebound them its insane!! Tall for nothing literally.

  6. I think of JJJ as injury prone but I guess it's not really bad. Only one year out of six completed so far with fewer than 57 games played.

  7. My only issue with jaren is his crappy rebounding ability. How u a forward that don't really rebound? He was one of the issues of the fiba team USA group losing.

  8. JJJ has good touch and hand eyes coorodination since his 1st year.
I likes his game since his rookie year.
