A little context to support Jason's idea of the Nuggets still potentially being contenders. Jokic missed 3 games a few weeks ago waiting on the birth of his new son. Denver lost 2 of those games which they absolutely would have won with Jokic since they were playing at the time injury ravaged Memphis and NO. If he doesn't take those games off the Nuggets would be 16-8, tied with Memphis for the 2 seed, and playing at a 55 win pace. And that's in spite of Murray having a glacially slow start and Gordon missing over half the games with an injury. Gordon is back now and Murray is starting to look like himself after his typical bad start.
The way fans and media immediately threw Denver’s roster under the bus cuz they “struggled” for 20 games on the way to the 5 seed is hilarious 😂.
Went from best starting 5 and future dynasty to trash in 2 seasons.
I was never gaslit. Denver is a threat to my Mavs. I’ve seen greats like LeBron and Luka carry truly bad rosters. Jokic won an MVP for it in 2021!
This Denver bench will need to be addressed by Booth before the trade deadline. This team is not winning a title with Westbrook, a turnover machine and poor decision-maker in the half-court, where playoff basketball is mostly won, Watson, a huge liability offensively, and Strawther, a huge liability defensively.
Add to that Murray's sometimes terrible, but usually less-than-stellar and inconsistent play, and the starters having to play big time minutes the rest of the year- this team will be spent. They were tired late in the Minnesota series last year, and that was only the semi's! Don't see this team beating a healthy OKC or Dallas, and maybe even Minnesota again!
Denver isnt unstoppable. LMAO they forgot how to play basketball and escaped that nice last play. Only if DeRozen knew how to catch a basketball. lol OKC is going to cook the nuggets
Admittedly, I am one of these people that isn’t a big fan of Russell Westbrook… but watching that Kings/Nuggets game last night, I said to myself multiple times during that game, “damn Russ can play defense”
Interesting how you can have different perspective on the same thing. what happened last night with Denver is why I'm so nervous about them. Yes, they won in the end, but they blew a 20 something lead. They shouldn't have been in that situation in those clutch moments had they just maintain their level of play just a little bit and stop blowing these big leads because, yes, this time they won, but other time they lose.
Jimmy showed why he's an X factor. I still wouldn't trade for him if I was the Warriors. Giving up too much

Westbrook’s decision making has improved playing with jokic old russ would have taken that 3 instead of passing it to jokic for a high percentage floater
Russ is playing a similar role to the one Bruce Brown played in 2023. He's a better passer, a little sporadic but he's been a great fit.

Pistons in control for a while, then Herro goes nuclear to force OT, and then the heat have a breakdown (the spo mistake last game was far worse) but the pistons squeeze it out.
Pistons are learning how to win close games after being embarrassingly bad at them last year
Hello Jason, my question that I have is about the Clippers and how they can insert Kawhi Leonard back into their equation and I'm wondering if Kawhi comes back and the clippers are playing well on defense and average enough on offense, do they look to make moves in the deadline to acquire another defensive wing or a shot creator to take the offensive and defensive workload on both Harden and Leonard?
