The Miami Heat blew out the Los Angeles Lakers in Miami on Wednesday night, forcing LeBron James, Anthony Davis and JJ Redick to take a hard look in the mirror. Meanwhile, Tyler Herro went off for 31 points, including making seven 3s in the third quarter, to kickstart his 2025 NBA All-Star campaign in front of a national audience.

    The Lakers could've used some more 3pt shot making and defensive tonight. They should've called up Bronny and played him tonight because they looked disinterested and could've used his energy and spark tonight, and maybe the outcome would've been different………and obviously I'm trolling

    Last night was a lot of fun. Great win for the Heat. I really hope this lights a fire and the team goes on a winning streak. They've been .500 all season, but hopefully they can start racking up some more Ws. Also, if nothing more this season, get Tyler Herro into the all-star game! Incredible season for Tyler. I'm convinced he was on his way to taking over last season and then the ankle injury happened. Anyway, good to see him out there playing with confidence, more mature, and just having fun. Go Heat!

    Herro is gonna have to get the nod over Trae Young, Darius Garland, Lamelo Ball, and Tyrese Maxey. Not sure about wild card spots. I think he has a chance but he’s not popular like he used to be. Would be stoked if he got it, though

    The lakers are horrible. Barely over 500 and their star player is a 39 year old Lebron (About to be 40 in 2 weeks). Holding any stock in a win like this, is laughable.

    I was waiting to see how David and Wes sounded this morning after how defeated and deflated they sounded after that a Celtics loss. Like all hope was lost and were simply just a mediocre team at best. We beat the Mavs (Western Conf champs) about a week before that Celtics (Current champs) loss… now mollywhopped an almost fully healthy (better) Lakers team. There’s still some hope fellas! 😅

    This is WAY before my time but I checked on Statmuse and in Glen Rice's 56 point career high night, Shaq also had 38 and 16 on 16/22 from the field, and Penny had 28 and 18 assists on 10/17 from the field in a 6 point win for the Heat

    If we make the playoffs I hope it’s not because we’re getting lucky playing teams like Minnesota when they are slumping or Phoenix when Durant is hurt, Dallas without Luka, etc. I only want to make the playoffs if I feel like we can reasonably hang with and upset Boston and OKC. I don’t wanna be like “i hope we are on the opposite side of the bracket from Boston, and get maybe they’ll get banged up or someone else will beat them for us” like we were all last year. That’s weak, but definitely how I would feel about this team right now.

    I still think we should tank.

    Now I am certain that this podcast is , quote , unquote , " Locked on Tyler Hero " . I suggest as much because the show's title prop's up Hero as the reason the Heat won the game which is not the case . Truth is Heat was winning by double digits primarily because of Butler , Bam and Terry while Tyler was struggling with his shot and turnovers . Tyler's 21 point third quarter turned a 17 point lead into a blowout .
