Mid season trades don’t work out that year… AG changed the nuggets the day he stepped on the court.
Who closes the game? Maybe jamal is the new odd man out to close the game. You would need Joker, AG, CB, Russ and?
My problem with the trade for MPJ is that we all know it's really about Jamal, more than it is about MPJ. That will create a whole lot of other problems afterwards, because if we know it, Jamal knows it too and that will hurt him more mentally. It will also hurt the dynamic and the chemistry even more, because of those reasons. Because if there is a chemistry problem, we all know Jamal is in the middle of it as well.
People don't really understand how unleashed ZACH will become playing next to Jokic… Take MPJ and now add it by 10x

You say they are comfortably worse. By what metric. They’re considerably better. Despite popular opinion. Fun show, as far as nuggets go it’s always positive. Until it’s not. Enjoy, Denver and Jokic are +-2 more championships 🎉
How is Lavine improvment for MPJ? if that happens we would get worse not better
If we can add Lavine, that’s a different story but trading key players for him? Nah I’ll take what we got and wait for draft night even though we only have a second round pick. One of our second round picks is the current MVP and on his way to another MVP this season.
If LaVine then trade Jamal, youth, and picks. MPJ has room to grow and Jamal is one the way down. Trade him now while he has some value. LaVine could be bench this year with Westbrook at PG to start. In the future LaVine could be a big PG next to Joker, AG, MPJ, and CB.
Don't trade Porter for LaVine, or anyone else. If the Nuggets do trade for LaVine they will be another Phoenix with Beal, which is bad. Keep Porter, build around the edges
Gotta be gutsy. Look what Brad Stevens did for Celtics. He traded away fan favorite Marcus Smart. Celtics fans were literally crying tears of anger and sadness. Now look at where they are.
Best if Denver just sits on its hands and watch the basketball world go by. And keep dropping to the bottom while everyone else is improving. Even better, watch repeats of the championship finals to feel better.
D line saying trading MPJ for Bogdan is a good deal is nuts. It's only a good deal if you get Bogdan & another good rotation piece. MPJ is just a way better player for the Nuggets than Bogdan. If you trade them one for one, it's a complete failure of a trade for the Nuggets.

this season lavine is taking a back seat letting younger guys like ayo and coby to take more shots( cuz he knows he could score whenever he wants) currently he's more of a secondary playmaker and catch and shoot(he isnt forcing his shots unlike the previous seasons where he's taking horrible shots selections and he's putting effort on defense).
Denver doesn't need much. The top 6 is fine. PWat and Straw are fibe for the regular season. They just needs a minor trade for a serviceable veteran back up big they can handle the playoffs. Considering what they have to trade maybe minimum salary guy Jock Lansdale.
