Hey I'm like you. I'm from New Orleans and now live in DFW. Cool. The Mavs don't have enough to offer to match that massive Zion contract. He's not healthy enough to play anywhere close to 80 games a year. Even if the salary matched, I'd have him come off the bench behind PJ. No good team is going to take on a guy with a huge contract who plays in less than half of the games. . . . That Pelicans team is very adept at accumulating talent and doing nothing with it. I feel sorry for Pelicans fans.

Lively is still young in the head like the guy in Minnesota and other young players that still have the adolescence in their game; Gafford a lot more mature and Lively will get traded based on his butterfingers alot more in the middle of the season
I’m going to say no. I’m not a mavericks fan but any trade for Zion would give up athleticism and above all shot blocking and defense. Only thing Zion provides is more offense. Not really needed. Honestly I don’t think Zion is a championship 4 unless he changes his game to become more like Dreymond green, and embrace being a stopper and pick and roll release/ point 4 guy. He needs to be featured on the offensive size and at the end of the day he is undersized, that’s not even mentioning his injury history. I thought Blakes game was more of a championship 4 kind of game, but Blake’s got more height than Zion.
