  1. The players have themselves to blame. The stopped caring years ago. They get guaranteed contracts and they don't care to give back to the fans for ONE NIGHT to see Lebron be on the same "team" as Steph and KAT be teammates with Jayson Tatum. WE're not asking for GAme 7 effort, but pride. That's all. Did they think 400 point game with NO defense where they jack up 100 3's is entertaining to watch???

  2. Until they change it to where it’s east v west and winner gets home court throughout the finals no one’s going to care

  3. Nba "stars" by far are the worst out of any sports and that's why the league is struggling. Get paid absurd amounts to play the easiest of the big pro sports. Play 50 games a year while whining about playing 50 games a year and when they do play every game has become jack up 60 3s a game while flopping for fouls on all the other attempts.

  4. Those NBA players are either sooo dumb or a bunch of arrogant hypocrites to the fullest . It is because of their laziness, lack of investment during the ASG that we have this corny situation.

Then when you critisize them, they crying like toddlers. they live in a golden prison, u can't be that stupid.

  5. It should be at the END OF THE SEASON. Players are wanting to rest and recover before the final push of the season. The middle is ridiculous.

  6. The wbna plays 40 games. The nba plays 82. The season is way longer and these guys are nicked are year, you put in all star weekend in the middle of the year most are going to choose to rest and use the extra few days to prepare their bodies for a playoff run. There’s literally no incentive to play super hard in an all star game. Same with the pro bowl, they have flag football now lol

  7. Voting is more exciting than the game. not expecting anything different this year, basically look at it as a Bye weekend for the NBA and go for a road trip.

  8. Why is the NBA not listening to his community?
Community wants East / West and Winner takes Adv in the finals. Atleast thats what ive read over the last 2 years.
if its only show, thats cool, thats business but…
i can remember jokic, the best player in league, was not drafted. what kinda all star game is it, when we MVP of the season is not drafted. Just bc he is not slamming the rock or doing halfcourt shots.
Give the Community what they want, if its not working, the community is the one to blame, no the NBA Comission. Other then that, I think the responsiblity is always at the NBA. You cannot blame the players, to play a game with no competitive spirit when there is no competition at all.

  9. That one year they first did the win every quarter or whatever it was they went hard in the 4th and it was lit as hell

  10. Why do they keep mentioning the fans interest at an all star game? A player and team will obviously care more when 18K fans are in their own arena cheering for them specifically, vs fans who are just witnessing some cool marvel or DC level team up of star players scoring 10 points in a meaningless game.

Side note- it wasn't as common back in the day to see star players team up, you had to wait until all star weekend to see it. But with all the player- team switching and Big 3s the past decade or so, you can sometimes watch a regular season game and see a mini all star game of 6/8 players in it

  11. I hate to say it, but the NBA is too soft, and everyone is too friendly. No one wants to compete anymore. That killer instinct died with Kobe, its disgusting 💔 R.I.P kobe

  12. This is diabolical. Never have i seen a group of owners, and a commissioner complain about the evolution of the sport.

Everybody in the NBA who put the Money 1st…killed the game. And yall allowed it. Now your business is diluted. Adam Silver must go…he's part of the old system. NBA needs a black man as it's commissioner.

Hasn't this happened before? White men complaining about black men? Well black man..Just don't play and let's how they handle it as White men

  13. There's a way to fix it. Go back to East vs West––the team that comes out of the winning conference gets a bye for Game 1 of the Finals. For example, if the West won and the Nuggets went to the finals, they'd get a 1 game advantage over whoever comes out of the East. The stars would play their hearts out

  14. Don’t nobody wanna watch nba all stars playing hard ball during asg we wanna see dunks long threes something exciting

  15. Stephen A Smith is 100% right when the game starts the players don't look interested. They're just jogging up and down the Court looking uninterested and bored.
I forgot which year I think this was a couple years ago Adam Silver looked disgusted when both teams scored at least 200 I believe.

  16. They should definitely invite non NBA dunkers. I’ve seen some amazing things in person at events and on YouTube.

  17. Its not all just the players. Owners dont want their star players getting hurt in an All Star Game. The Coaches are worried sick about one of their players getting hurt that they've come out and said i hope they dont play much. No way they should be paying these guys to clown around…

  18. It's not just the players. The media ruined it too and Stephen A needs to take responsibility for his part in creating this situation. The media routinely reduce a players legacy down to whether a player wins a championship or not. It doesnt matter how good you are, if you dont win the media will always say you came up short. So now the players have responded. They create super teams, bs throughout the regular season, and they will never risk their health for an exhibition game. You cant put it all on the players

  19. They could’ve just paid players more money and kept East vs West give every allstar 1.5 maybe 2 mill no matter what and the winning squad gets 3 million

  20. East vs West. Players wear their own team's jersey. Winning conference gets home-court advantage in the finals. Fixed it.
