It should just be the 3 point line rather than all facets of the court, it would really cause some issues for every team and make the league fun. Imagine the bucks with a huge 3 point line so Dame can send it from the logo every shot and giannis has all the space in the world

This is possibly the worst idea I have ever heard in all of my life. I saw a comment saying to do it for the all star game which is fine, but any other time makes this the worst thing to ever come out of a humans mouth
Or the NBA could return to real defense, contact, and not allowing 3-4 step travels and blatant carrying the ball. BTW – I played for a high school with a grandfathered court that was far smaller than a regulation court. 16 feet to the corners, midcourt only about 8 feet from top of the circle so two backcourt lines (one for each direction). Fans feet in the front row on the court, walls behind the baskets only a few inches from the end line.
