  1. Dont listen to this guy or any coach if they tell you not to do weak hand floaters/finishes and sky hooks. Nothing is low percentage about a hook shot close to the basket. Its far higher percentage than mid range and 3 point. And its only a weak hand floater/finish if you listen to these coaches who tell you not to do it. If you do it, it wont be weak anymore. Also just play to your strengths. If your coach cant utilize them. Thats a coach problem not a player problem

  2. College level players shoots floaters at around 35% it’s really player to player but your better off trying to get all the way to the hoop and finishing at different angles

  3. on the shoulder fade, you should put your weight on your right foot and not your left, you will cover more ground this way.

  4. The skyhook is one of the greatest shots ever why wouldn’t you use this especially for smaller players I totally disagree

  5. Saying to not work on your weak hand is horrible advice you have to work on everything like the hook you should practice it cause when done correctly it is so good today it’s such a low % cause people don’t actually know how to do it

  6. Ngl I always used the harden dribble package, as long as you are creating out of it and not chucking stepback threes it should be okay

  7. Know who you are. 90% of the time, if you're actively thinking of moves to use in a game, you're not your offenses #1 scoring option.

  8. The key with the skyhook is not to run, it's basically a floater that you shoot with your body in the way. You take the step to get to the middle of the lane, then you should go straight up and down. If you watch the old Kareem highlights, he's not running.
