  1. MJ logo. Dunk. Shaq logo. Dunk. Lebron logo. Dunk. Dr. J actually invented modern basketball – most of yall don't know that because you dis the ABA – but Dr. J made basketball watchable with dunks. No one really enjoyed watched Wilt vs Bill. Or even Kareem. Dr. J introduced us to high flying theatrics

  2. The way to fix the three point issue is to make all shots one point. This would force players to shoot two pointers and make the big centers relevant again.

  3. The referees are what turns the fans off with their silly foul and technical foul calls and ejections when the fans are there to see their fave players

  4. If they pushed the line back 4-5 feet and got rid of the side 3 it would make the nba so much better

  5. If the problem is the amount of 3s then like timeouts, each team should get a limited number of 3s to use strategically.

I say we cap 3 point shots at 30 attempts per game per team. They’d have to use them wisely by the time the 4th quarter comes around

  6. I stopped watching NBA in 1998, channel surfing last night watched and was not entertained at all

  7. This is why they’re the best, you forget sometimes because of the large personalities. This was a fucking panel, questions being asked, not yelling over each other. Thought out explanations. Art.

  8. There’s a reason there is a 3-point shooting contest in the all-star break. It’s supposed to be a special event. Game is boring AF, unoriginal, players have no heart. I will always be grateful I saw the NBA of the 90’s and early 2000’s. Defense, real rivalries, mid-range game, actual player roles, players would die to get a loose ball & played every game they could. I would rather hear Chuck sing karaoke for 3 hours than see today’s games.

  9. Soft Players, Three pointers, soft refs, too many subscriptions in order to watch the games, lack of defence, we can go on

  10. It is not just the threes and the NBA knows it – treating symptoms and not the root cause — you got fundamentals, defense (lack of) and REFS!! It is a fixed sport, and we know it.

  11. Charles again hit in on the nose. These are the best players in the world and the coaches have no influence.

It’s about 💵 and not winning. Popovic, Phil have showed us great coaching wins ships. But players either don’t believe it or don’t care.

  12. As someone who use to watch and barely watches anymore. My reasons are simple. If the players don’t care about playing why should we? They’ve made their bed now they have to sleep in it. Load management, not caring about all star games, not caring about particular regular season games. The amount of 3’s don’t bother me as much as the attitude these players have these days. They all shout put about Mamba mentality but then act like La Bamba mentality

  13. Nba make these damn teams watch Hoosiers and then make teams pass the ball 4 times… Kids if you watching this tell your parents "i want to watch Hoosiers" – Gene Hackman

  14. Money, analytics, and free agency have ruined the game and eliminated rivalries. They should just eliminate the 3-point line. There's no going back after analytics decided teams should jack up 3's.

  15. People wants to rather watch Youtube like DIY stuff, self improvement, stocks and finances than watching dudes shooting threes. Whatta lousy game

  16. Or, turn the 3-point line into a 1-point line. You have more space to shoot out there so it's actually an easier shot even though it's farther out. You should be awarded less points for making an easier shot.

  17. I havent watched NBA this season because theres no reason to. Nothing excites me about this season or the sport anymore. Players just jack up 3s and dont care to play defense. Then get paid $40-$50 mil a year to take some games off what a joke

  18. I feel like the powers that be dont like the number of 3's taken. As a fan, im frustrated with how much it cost to only watch a handful of game due to black outs, im frustrated with the complete lack of skill with the ref's. Refs have made there presence the deciding factor in a lot of games, that just terrrrrible. Load management only applies to a few players/teams.

  19. my opinion
i hate seeing bricks, but not so much about made threes. i wish to see less failed attempts, but need to reward hot hands / confidence somehow.
my proposal: only give 3 pts for consecutive made 3s (2 pts for 3-point shot following a failed 3-pt attempt)

  20. Grizz and OKC have top records and are only slightly above average 3 point shooting. So there are a couple of templates to win without overreliance on the 3.

OKC has the best defense and point differential, and top 7 in off and def ratings, but the 12th best 3 point game.

Memphis has the most ppg, quickest pacing, most points in paint, also is top 7 in off and def rating and point differntial, while being 15th or 16th in 3s. Memphis pace of play is like the 1980- early 90s Loyola Marymount teams, although mixed with the Calipari-DRose Dribble Drive offenses.

  21. The reason NBA viewership is down is because people are sick of the a$$holes making millions and acting like 5 year olds. It's that simple. If the NBA sank today, I would be happy

  22. The league just hasn’t been the same since King James retired 💯
Oh nvm, he’s still here. I honestly forgot he was still playing.

  23. Why people are not interested? Few reasons:
    1. Bad defense (bad rules, soft game)
    2. Bad officiating (not calling travel, carry, double dribble)
    3. Load managment
    4. Destroyed All-Star Game
    5. Hyping medicore players (Bronny)
    6. The same tactics (too many 3-pointers
    7. Too young draft causing more injuries
    8. Players focused on their own records, money, hyping, social media, fashion, but not on the winning.
    9. Players disrespect to coaches.

  24. So I hope this comment gets somewhere, but they should put a digital 3 point line. If they are down by 10 or more, the losing teams 3 point line appears, and they could take 3s until they are 1 point behind, once they are one point behind, the 3 point line disappears. Would certainly make it more exciting.
