Pacers fan, but I have rooted for you guys since the trade. All I can say is everything that is being said was being said about Pacers. Pacers are getting better, finding their stride now. A turnaround is possible if your team sticks together. The Fox stuff will make it hard if he doesn't be the leader and get the others believing in teammates. Tyrese sucked for a month, but always put it on him as the problem. He didn't put himself abov his teammates. Fox is, which the problem I'm having with this team. I feel bad for you guys.
as a vulture rockets fan, im not interested in malik monk or keegan murray, im not convinced that either of them would be an upgrade over our 10th man aaron holiday. & if i was going to trade for a player on your roster i would take saboner over fox.

I think if they are going to trade De'Aaron Fox, then it is full rebuild time. Trade all of the starting 5.
I know it sounds insane. There is logic behind this.
1. You end up with a lot of draft picks. 2. Take on a few veterans who have bad contracts, but within a year or two, they will be gone and you would have a young core surrounded by new talent.
Think Ben Simmons and Jordan Poole. I know the Wizards and Nets have said they want to focus on their young core. If they had a chance to improve by getting Fox, Sabonis, Murray, Monk or DeRozan do you think it might be worth a player or two in the draft? Plus with Simmons having reached the end of his deal, his money comes off of the books and it gives the cap space to go out and get someone in free agency. I know Sacramento hasn't been a great free agent destination.
Most players will still want the money though. You create 50+ million in cap t, someone is going to want that
Bring in Mark Jackson….Players not playing hit the bench. When Mike said he didn’t say anything after 1st loss to LakeShow, I was like you got to lay into em… hez lost em. Don’t wait till end of season….kings need a change and have already waited tooooo long as KM has little value now and you have to trade foxy for what u could have got for KM last year…..lets try MJackson with this squad and get clarity on what has to happen in off-season.

There has been so much frustration with this team this year. They are to talented to be loosing this bad. For the third time this year, the Kings made more 3-pointers than their opponent and lost. However, it was only 1 more than the lakers and shot 27%. The Kings live and die from 3 point range and just can't get everyone on the same page for more than 1 or 2 games.
I don't understand monte. He should have just ran it back with the same roster that made the playoffs he traded Terrence Davis, metu, Every sense they haven't made it back to the playoffs or been the same
Fox is a scoring guard, nothing more. He isn’t a leader, and he isn’t capable of setting up teammates consistently to get easy quality buckets like a more traditional pg would.
I wanted to keep Haliburton.

Y’all are all offense and little to no D (no great defenders outside of Keegan)
Keon Ellis checks in and changes your defense instantly, and when monk checks in he can be a scorer instead of the 4th option on O and watching Fox/Sabonis/Demar
Fox for Jaylen brown this summer makes the kings way better
1. Celtics need to cut cap

Monte get DeRoz out of here before we loose Fox! We look like the Bulls the last two years with DeRoz on the roster. The last good game we saw from the Kings was when he was out injured. As for Fox why should he want to stay somewhere he can't a call because of his jersey? Keegan looks like a different player when DeRoz is off the floor as well, I hate to point the finger again but Laker fans didn't take over Golden One in back to back games last year. Move DeRoz to the bench and look for a trade partner. I hate to say it but I think by this time next year Fox and Monk are both playing elsewhere and Fox is a top five player in the league. The only real run the Kings had ended when Reeves junk punched Ellis and didn't even get tossed. Biggest mistake Monte has made was getting rid of OffNight. If the Kings got the calls the Lakers got the would have a better winning percentage than the KC Chiefs

Everything you said was true.
And what you didnt say was also true:
The referees favor the Lakers, they crap on Sac, and that's the difference in the game
And, your critique of the team is accurate
Narrative-wise, Sac's jankiness is going to feed whatever the refs already clearly think anyway and when Sac resurrects itself in a few years they'll still get treated that way. Almost makes me think the Magoofs were a symptom of our forked up karma but not the cause. After all, pre-Magoof this is the team coached by Bill Russell that blew a #1 pick on Pervis Ellison.
But the truth remains, if officiating weren't at almost WWE levels, Sac would win more games and maybe even see itself differently. What would that cause? Don't know, not quantifiable but it wouldn't be negative.
As for now, watching Sac is like watching a wildlife documentary. You really want that baby zebra to make it….but it never does. You watch Sac you're watching that thing get turfed over and over and over again. Sometimes it gets flattened right away, sometimes it's a big chase scene. Once in a while it might almost make it.
I can't keep watching the baby zebra get killed. The closest I can come is watching you talk about the baby zebra getting killed.
I don't envy you your job. I can say as a 40 year Kings fan, gallows humor helps.
Sacramento is too small it's more of a town
Sacramento needs to be a much bigger city to compete against the other way bigger cities no one wants to go to the Kings escape Old players.
