Doug McDermott getting almost 19 minutes while getting blown by almost every play while Keon Ellis doesn’t get off the bench until garbage time is criminal… I’d rather have an “undersized” player that plays competent defense over a 6’6 “3 point specialist” that isn’t making shots and is a training cone on defense…

This team is gone. With the Fox Drama and Monte's horrific player selection to build this team. After 2022 he had no clue where to take this team since. DeRozen was the big mistake. Why him? The Kings needed him like I need to get the flu
Sell the team and move it out of Sacramento to attract better players.
If they aren’t above .500 by January start to consider a okc thunder type rebuild start with gutting the roster and getting the most value out of your players and start from scratch don’t fire your coach every season and let the GM do his job. And draft based on talent not need case study drafting bagley over Luka or the warriors drafting wiseman over lemello

This could be a bad example to some, but look at OKC. Middle of the road playoff team, and they trade Westbrook for CP3 netting lots of first round picks. Then PG13 to the Clippers for a Kings ransom. This roster cannot be fixed without tanking your future. I fell like the Kings need to copy OKC because of the similar small markets that they are in. They can really build a future dynasty quickly if they really wanted to. However, what is the point of even trying to copy OKC when you will only draft point guards with your top picks?
Maybe they can trade Dougie for LeBron James and grab SGA for cash considerations. Yeah, keep the suggestions coming folks😂😂😂

At this point you have to fire Mike Brown, Monte and trade Fox and Monk for as many assets as you can get. No one would trade for Sabonis and his bad contract and Keegans trade value is too low atm.
Im worried about Matt y'all. He's going to have PTSD / Post Traumatic Sports Disorder / from being forced to unflinchingly watch all these Kings games.

Honestly. I said it before. At game 30, they had to have turned it around. Otherwise it was time to start thinking about a rebuild.

Trading all 5 starters. Not even kidding.
Fox, I think either San Antonio or Denver probably make the most sense for a trade partner.
Sabonis, I see the Warriors or Pistons as the teams that make sense.
DeRozan, I think it is more of a bad contract swap with someone.
Murray, I think you go with maybe the Hornets or Wolves.
Monk, I think Maybe the Knicks, Bucks or Jazz.
Huerter, I don't know if he can be moved, but if possible, I look at maybe the Wizards.
Whoever we get back, they become the new starting 5.
The picks brought back, hopefully over the next 3 years, it can bring some talent back. If we can land a bad contract or two that is expiring as well, we can land a couple of good players in the off season.
I just think this team needs to go with a hard reset. They should have a better record at this point. 17-18 wins. Instead they are in free fall to the lottery. Atlanta should be happy about that. So getting some picks, probably a good idea.
Now, if they do decide to try one last thing to turn this season around and do it before the New Year, I give them until the trade deadline. If at the deadline they are still sucking ass, I dismantle this roster. Get as many picks as possible and any bad contracts. If you can grab Ben Simmons and his expiring contract, I would do it in a heartbeat if the roster dismantles. I trade all 6 of these guys though if they aren't way better at the deadline. That is only if they go out to get someone to make them better. If they sit on their hands for 3 weeks and continue to free fall, then I start firing people as well. It doesn't make any sense to wait. Make a move to get way better now, or be stupid and have to make a ton of moves to tank the season more and hope to get some top 10 picks likely in return.
I see Fox drive to the rim, look around, and take a terrible shot. He has no faith in his teammates. It looks awful
@lockedonkings and @mattgeorge I disagree with you about backing Mike Brown and Benching Demar. In terms of Mike brown, you kept saying we should extend him this summer. That was not a good move. I think he would’ve already been fired if he wasn’t extended. He is not a championship coach. He has won as an assistant- not head coach. Secondly, in terms of Demar He may not like it but he is not the coach. He slows down the tempo way too much. If we could, I would trade Demar honestly. He is not a championship level player.

Heard sam v today say…Fox to the rockets 3 1st round picks… reed Sheppard, cam witmore, steven adams…do that…. (you really try to squeeze amin instead )then you sell demar and see where you are with his return aswell… you have reed and devin carter cam witmore already for the rebuild and unleash keegs…. with your own picks +3 1st for fox plus what we can get for demar… then later determine if we sell sabonis and monk

Kings find a way to loose every day. Coach don’t punish player after they made mistakes. He don’t know how to use bench. If one player doing good one day, next game don’t gave him time to play. No three pointer in the team. Fox loose the basket every time in clutch time. Sabonis misses so many baskets under the ring. No fire in the player, not a single move people can clap on. Team was on 3rd play in 2022-2023 , Mike brown bring them to worst team in Western conference. Nothing left in the team until make immediate changes.
Kings fans lets chill a bit. 4 games ago, they were about to win their 4th straight and get a signature win against Denver. Shooting has been so bad that we cant blame Fox or even Brown for that. Lets see what can be corrected. I think Monk and maybe even Derozan goes to the bench. We know Monk is better off the bench. Ellis obviously should play more for defense and even game flow as he has great +/- minutes snd connected to winning. Huerter is a shooter abd needs to shoot himself out of this slump. The guy is a career 38% shooter from 3 and will revert back to that. I would like him to ger foung earlier in the 4th. Demar is a specialist and would work well off the bench and would free up Fox more with another 3pt shooter like Huerter or even Lyles. Weve seen it work before so I think go to the old rotation and have Monk and Demar as reserves where the kings would be potent throughout. A talented starting 5 may not be as effective when they are not cohesive. Lets go back to the offense in 2022 with shooters and Fox…the shooting will come around and if not then have Monk and Demar come in. Cant have 3 primary offense type players on the court starting…keep it simple and play good defense…again have Ellis play more.
How many times can the Kings choose Fox over everything else. No Luca, no Tyreese because we thought Fox is the best
