For the Rockets side, I have concerns about Fox-Amen-Sengun combo. Fox can shoot but his game is driving to the rim and Amen and AlP donāt exactly space the floor. I understand having a āguyā in Fox but long-term wise you want these three guys to fit together. Personally I would rather wait for a Suns meltdown and try and get Book. Their picks are more valuable to them and a Durant injury/retirement could sour quickly for Book. I think Book fits better with Amen AlP because he plays more on the perimeter and is a playoff riser. Probably need another ball handler though. Thoughts?

Do Monk and Derozan have enough value to trade for a wing?
Feels like a bit of a blind spot on the Kings needs in the trade discussion. The most glaring weakness in the Kings roster construction (for the last three seasons) is the lack of tall wings and forwards. This is a small team that is undersized and lacks depth in all three front court positions. Getting Reed & Whitmore for Fox doesn't address this at all. Kings would be gunning for Jabari Smith Jr or Tari Eason to be included.
Kings screwed up trading for DeRozan. But thank you Kings for Harrison Barnes, an excellent vet who with CP3 is going to make the Spurs a play-in team. Spurs don't want Fox b/c his "D" is avg and Stephon Castle was drafted for his "D" and his PG skills. Castle is the PG of the future for the Spurs and he's on a rookie contract.

Thanks for the discussion, one between two basketball guys who have at least watched the Kings more than once, and who don't feel like making mockery of an historically down-trodden franchise is the way to go.
I really hope we can fix the issues without losing Fox, but seeing what people think he's worth is pretty nice too.
