Cam Whitmore is a useful piece for Houston. He needs to learn however asap how basketball game is working. You can not shot or attack in every posession. Maybe he is doing it to gain some respect from Ä°me. Who knows.
My thoughts Recently is assuming the suns blow up their roster I wouldnāt want the Rockets go after Devin Booker bcos if he couldnāt elevate the suns to a contender with players like Ayton,bridges,cam Johnson,KD & CP3 how would he make the Rockets a contenderš I would rather the Rockets go after a cheaper jusuf Nurkic as our back up big. I wonāt trade for DeāAaron fox either bcos if he & sabonis couldnāt make the kings a contender how do you think his playing with sengun gonna make the Rockets a contender. Letās be patient with our young guys. Let them Just add shooters like cam Johnson and we will be good
I can tell Cam is trying, when he had that pass to Jabari by the rim, you can see Cam get playfully upset when they fouled Bari š he was like "damn they messed up my assist" š
I've never seen a player get ejected like Aaron did. That is because the refs used to be decent in this league and now they are garbage. I saw Holiday getting pushed around and I thought to myself if I was him, I'd punch somebody for it. Or a hard foul. Then he got his techs and I knew why. I'm not an Ant fan but I would like to get Fox to take Jalen's spot on the floor. Then next season drop Fred and sign Naz Reid as a free agent to share minutes with Jabari and Alpi in the front court. Move Cam to shooting guard and Fox to point guard. But I'm not giving up an unreasonable amount of assets for Fox. I wouldn't even give them Tate and I don't want Huerter. Just Jalen and a bench player like Jock and some of the Rockets first round picks. None of the Nets or Suns picks. Of course, that is not going to happen but I can dream…
Could we explore the idea of a D. Fox AND D. Booker Trade? Do we have enough assets for both without stripping us to bare bones?
About Cam im not convinced yet. Hornets match was like last 25 min garbage time mins. I am not saying stats werent important but you know. And ime gave 27 min to cam. 17/8/0/1 . First of all that block was really good. Nice ribounds. But offensively same mentality goes on. Always solo. 0 ast whole game .His ball movement- passing i don't know man. He has to be smarter than that or will never be good enough to make jalen bench.
Amen as starter lineup was really good , never dissapoints. 19/11/3 with 3 blocks. Also jabari's game recently both defensively and offensively soo good. Steven adams did very positive things in short time. His alpy style ast was so funny. Cant hate this guy seriously. Thinking last season and now such a huge diff . 20-9 , second seat. Amazing. I was always thinking alpy's defense were rockets weakest link. He improved his defense and its like team leveled up. Also dillon amen jabari's good defense makes rockets the most dangerous team in nba. Last year there were some teams i thought we never beat them even try 100 times. Now i think we can win any teams. So why only aim the play-offs? Why not higher places?

Whitmore should be getting way more mins and should be playing more than Reed and Holiday
Love watching Cam. He's fearless. And talented. Rockets are still a couple of years away from championship, so why not unleash Cam and see how much he can improve.
I've been screaming Cam needs to be in game especially when this team goes in droughts on offense. Reed Sheppard needs to be in the G League to get some shots up and more practice with the ball in his hands. How much is he learning riding the bench??
If Cam continues like this he is defintely going to get a lot of minutes on this team he just need to not handle the ball because those turnovers were driving me crazy.
Not to mention Cam with his scoring can keep the offense from going on a dry spell
As for Fox makes sense why he wants to leave and is frustrated with the Kings. With how the west is at best the Kings are just a play in team or a middle of a pack team thatās going no where
It makes sense Houston and SA are is two top choices because they are up and coming playoff contenders in the west
Houston because not only we are a good team Fox is from the area and he gets to play with a bunch of family and friends watching
SA itās simple he wants to play with Wemby who is going to be the best player in the league soon
Fox would be the most realistic option to go after and he would be the better fit instead of Booker
Tate played well under Silas but had a bad year under Ime. Haven't seen him much lately but he is looking pretty good to me. He gets assists too. We need players like him. I'm not really amped up on getting a "Star" player. It isn't doing the Suns any good.
We really gotta start giving Jabari his flowers too, he's starting to turn a corner beautifully

Fluffing Cam for a big trade before February? I dont think Cam can manage a small role long term, and his read on the game is not of a starter.
But his natural skills are a gem. He needs the run and gun system to flourish, and our team is not that
I think Cam is a key. However, he has a non flexible track mind when going down hill. They need to coach him up to read the floor before he starts his attack to the rack , so when the strong and weak side defense colaps on him, he does not take frustrating bad mid air shot, or a steal of the ball when he starts his run to the basket. Can you imagine him passing immediatly when he attracts the defense ?
It's time to release Cam. He is the missing offense the Rockets have been lacking all year. The rest of the team is amped to see Cam on the floor.
