    The Lakers will not make any significant trades this season as they do not possess any trade assets aside from the few first-round picks anyone wants. Most teams are trying to take advantage of the Lakers' fleecability tendencies and it seems the Lakers are trying to learn from their past mistakes by not giving up those picks so easily anymore. Its important to note that with the gullibility of RobP and the Lakers brass, the Lakers still might make a bad trade like for Kyle Kuzma or Zach LaVine locking them outside of their Lebron Championship window and crippling the franchise for decades to come.

    my ideal target is Herb Jones but its highly unlikely and he may be worth 3 1st rd picks. his abilty to defend and stretch is what the lakers need.

    I think the Lakers should go all-in to acquire Cam Johnson and Day’Ron Sharpe. The Lakers need athletic players who can score, rebound, and defend. Jonas Valančiūnas would actually make the Lakers worse defensively. The Lakers’ two first-round picks are more valuable than any other team’s two first-rounders. As stated by other GMs, those are the most sought-after picks in the NBA, and I doubt any team would be willing to give up three first-round picks.

    Next, I would pursue Malcolm Brogdon. Brogdon is exactly the kind of steady guard who can still defend well while playing as the backup or even lead guard. What good does it do the Lakers to keep D’Lo, who might give you 16-24 points on any given night but remains a huge defensive liability, even against backup guards from other teams? Both Austin Reaves and D’Lo were exposed defensively by two younger, more athletic guards from Detroit.

    Dorian Finney-Smith (DFS) would also be a great and cheaper fallback if the Lakers can’t get Cam Johnson. He’s a reliable 3-and-D player who can defend positions 2-4. These players would take so much pressure off LeBron and AD, who are currently tasked with defending and scoring 25-plus points every night.

    Yeah, we need to go after cam Johnson… our offense will upgrade at his position….. gotta grab a big man as well……Lakers need to make this happen!

    Trade JHS and a couple of second rounds for Sharpe. I'm not a big fan of Valanciunas, he might be the next Mark Gasol! And Gabe is actually better than him.

    Brogdon will be a good option but to match his salary might be a little bit tricky.

    I think we just get Sharpe now and keep the major trade chips until the trade deadline. Why? I want to keep an close eye on the Fox situation. DLo+Reeves+Knecht+ both first round picks would be enough to get fox if the kings is to move him.

    N… Brogdan plays better defense than Reeves or DLO however DLO is better 3pt shooter and isn't always injured like Brogdan
