Yes they can win without Tatum but with him they play better. I'm not worried for the season games. If they lose a playoff game then I'll be worried but untill then Celts are #1 by far.

Yeah we need Tatum to win games against good teams like the magic. Tatum had more assists last game he played than the whole team this game. Like you said, he’s the floor general. We play through him. Brown didn’t step up enough and PP could’ve done more. This just makes the argument for Tatum for mvp much stronger. I’m convinced we wouldn’t have had all those sloppy turn overs with Tatum out there

No. i'm a fan of the show and Allie but not of this question. They've won games without Tatum. They've won games with him at his worst. This was just a bad loss against a very athletic and hungry team. Adjustments were made to several teams over the summer that you can't take lightly and you need to execute. Boston is not invinciable. The pattern so far is that they lose a game then go right back on a winning streak. And they could have won this game.
Tatum growth in fundamentals — free throws, rebounds and steals can determine a game or two.

If this winning without Tatum trend continues, not that I'm looking forward to more Cs loss, it would only solidify Tatum's case for this year's MVP. However, the Cs needs to win back-to-back for that to happen. It going to be really hard as injuries that plagued champions of the past are beginning to surface for the Cs as well. But raising banner 19 this year is still within the Cs' reach.

Yes we need Tatum to win championship We don’t KP to win games. But we need them both definitely. It’s good to have a healthy team
He makes their whole offense work and without him who can handle the ball while drawing so much attention and making the right plays/passes. Even when his offense is slow he handles the ball a lot and draws a ton of attention. I think without him there is more pressure on other players who have to handle the ball more and score more. Defensively other teams can lock down DIFFERENT players because Tatum isn’t there. So now guys who are benefiting from having lesser defenders on them have better defenders on them while handling and trying to scare the ball more.
This is two times the Celts let their emotions get the best of them. The technicals in the game against Memphis and just mentally breaking down and fighting instead of playing the game. Get it together and act like a veteran team! Win down the stretch don't get angry and get out of your game!
