Kobe averaged 35 5 5 in 2005-2006 he also dropped 81 in a game he led his team to 45 wins his teammates included Lamar Odom(we all know what he was on), Kwame brown, smush Parker and Chris Mihm they had the 3rd worst offense rating in history without Kobe and a defensive rating that would have them 2nd worst in the league so yes Steve Nash should not have won that mvp
Shaq has a short memory, yes Nash narrowly won over him but it was only ONCE in 05 (in 06 Shaq wasn't even in top10 vote). Also he didn't average 28p 15r in 04/05 only 23p & 10r. HUGE DIFFERENCE.
Shaq was the real mvp for years, just like Jordan was the real MVP for more years than he won it. It’s a weird award. Most important player on the team doing the best unless someone is doing something crazy, but it’s never actually what it sounds like in the Most Valuable Player in the league.
