The Hartenstein Effect & Why It’s Working For The Thunder
Despite an injury-filled season, the Oklahoma City Thunder still find themselves number 1 in the West in large part due to the versatility each and every player on the roster brings.
A lot of NBA fans questioned how the Thunder would respond once Chet Holmgren suffered a potential season-altering injury, but despite the significant loss, the Thunder have continued to find success thanks to recently acquired big man, Isaiah Hartenstein.

He is a better rebounder than Chet but Chet is a better shop blocker. Can’t wait until they have a month playing together
Rolls out a great one , thunder up Royce
I wish he stayed with nyc man😭. What he did vs Philly was nasty. This man is a beast on the boards and is a valuable asset to any team.
Thunder Up!
In 2016 Hartenstien was the top rated player in Europe for his age group , it’s not surprising he’s this good for the Thunder.
Good point about screen assists. Huge advantage when you have that wall out there.
He rarely misses that one-handed shot.
Love this man's game. Few would think 'Hartenstein' when considering high quality passing bigs, but the stats show he is entering a level where the Jokics, Sabonises and Senguns are!
If my child is blessed enough to be a big man in the NBA he’s gonna study Hartenstein film everyday
Babe wake up, Thunder XP is back
