It’s OK you have to continue to develop your youth due to the new CVA. You can’t go out and get them in free agency anymore as long as they are getting playing time and not just sitting on the bench Light sometimes both do.

Im not excited at all‼️ For Keshad, yes, develop him, LONG overdue. For the team, no. Is undeveloped Keshad Johnson the help Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro NEED to win a championship? NO.
Trade everyone except Tyler and the young guys and start a rebuild:
PG: Jovic (maybe not a long term solution, but getting those reps will be amazing for him)
SG: Tyler Herro
SF: Jaime Jaquez (yeah he can play the 4 just like Jimmy, but that's for specific matchups, opposite of what Spo has done 😒)
PF: Pelle Larson (Pelle is the perfect Swiss army knife that should be able to guard most 1-4 in the league, getting reps at stopping opposing PF and getting switches at smaller players will be very helpful)
C: Kelel Ware
This a losing, tanking, but very exciting a promising young core that can develop their offensive and defensive games, hopefully don't get rid of Dru and some guards, so there can be more versatily in the roster. Oh and hopefully keep K Love so he can mentor everyone and especially Jovic Jaime and Pelle. Even if we lost Jimmy and Bam for a bag of chips this makes me way happier than whatever this team is doing rn. Oh, and don't get me started on the Skyforce guys. Bring back Alonde Williams, Cole Swider, and obviously insert my boys Josh Christopher, Keshad Johnson and Isaiah Stevens and develop ALL of them. Now THIS would be truly and exciting young team that will develop at the same time, and make the heat recoup some assets will these core group peaks all at the same time.

I think the Heat should sign guys like Keshad (with a lot of upside) to a 3 year deal with a team option on the third year. We've seen guys do well during season 2 then flame out afterwards (Duncan Robinson).
