  1. Wilt Mcadoo Stockton Barkley Karl Bernard King Miller Iverson Baylor Westbrook Harden English Gervin Archibald Ewing

  2. The reason why the negative is brought out so much is because it overshadows any accomplishment that they made look at Carmelo Anthony. He could’ve been a champion when he went for the money he cared more about money than success. That’s why they say. He never wanna ring because he could’veDwight Howard. He got to the finals that’s great but look at how he left Orlando look out his situation took place in LA and look at how he left Houston both situations overshadow their career. That’s why.

  3. This is spot on as fuck… T-Mac, Grant Hill, Amare Stoudemire and Chris Paul to a certain degree get a lot of that too. The first thing people bring up is what they aren't.

  4. The bar is set so high because of so many amazing players and legends, not to mention the theme of the top 50 players is heck of an act to follow !! Mic'MMXXV

  5. Carmelo was a good player. Nothing more, nothing less. Ineffective, inefficient volume scorer. But he was a star most years. He does not belong on the top 75 list

  6. The way that basketball is discussed in general today cans be attributed to two ppl. Skip Bayless and Unc Shay really ruined basketball conversations. Nobody had ever disrespected the legends of the game in a consistent basis the way they did. Now you have ppl that have never played a park, rec league or professional game talking casually about usually LeBron and MJ. It’s pathetic. Basketball culture right now is bad to me outside of YouTube basketball. It’s the bright spot

  7. Call it what it is. The LeBron era fans tear down every other great player to elevate the Kang.

  8. Carmelo Xerox Bernard kings game, quick small forward with quick releases and very little dribbling

  9. It's being real and basketball is different. It's about an individual that plays in a team concept. Its different than every other sport. It's not good enough to just be a bucket. Dwight wouldn't have been that great in the 80s & 90s. Dwight is one of the centers that I accused has diminished the positions. He couldn't score without a dunk or alley opp. Carmel was good his problem was he was drafted in the same year as LeBron. He was argued to be better and more polished than LeBron but couldn't win one chip sorry that's a problem like it not. you guys have to keep it real. This is what's wrong with media they rather be liked like today's NBA players than keeping it 100. Nobody plays to be scorers u play to win championships and that's how you'll be judged. I never hear anybody arguing for Karl Malone or Charles Barkley also great players. I frankly didn't think Carmelo spent enough time thinking the game from a mental aspect. It didn't appear he really was trying to win chips more than being a scorer and that's my problem with him.

  10. Never won a ring??? He won 3 playoff series his whole career. Only once went to a conference final. He’s a career under achiever who only cared about scoring. He and Chauncey have talked about this.

  11. DH I get. But Melo did nothing. He jumped from team to team blaming everyone but himself for issues. No MVPs. No finals. 1 scoring title. Never made it past a conference finals. The guy was just a solo stat guy

  12. Carmelo Anthony try to do it the right way with Denver and New York by himself what's another team Dwight Howard did the same thing with the Orlando Magics he got it all the way to the mother's house where they couldn't quite get there show some respect we respect is to Carmelo Anthony number 9 in scoring Dwight Howard 4:10 defensive Player of the Year you cannot take those away

  13. I’m tired of when ppl say “do they this for other sports?”. They do with quarterbacks. Other football positions is hard because of the lack of control in the game outside the qb. Baseball is similar because we have seen a team with the 2 best players in the Angels not do anything because they can’t account for the other 7 guys in the lineup and 3-4 guys pitching. Basketball is rare in that you play both sides of the ball and being one of five makes your impact that much greater. The greatest center, running back, linebacker, corner, closer, second baseman or designated hitter can only do so much and have to rely much more on other players. So not winning a championship weighs more

  14. Kobe tried to make dwight have that killer instinct but Dwight didn't fw kobe and melo was a bucket he was a problem

  15. To answer the last question; we know why. It’s because in the NBA more so than in any other sport, the players/stars are YG&B.

  16. Both legends! The Melo hate have plenty in common – y’all bums and or casuals. Championships are great and measure success of course but when the subject is about the individual, expand your mind and understand it ain’t about rings

  17. Their nba players they’re all, all time great basketball players but there’s levels to this and many people saw melo and Howard being one of those kinds of players, they didn’t live up to it so they her criticized for it,

  18. Melo actually gets a lot of love tho. Dwight is completely disrespected most the time. Especially cus of all the extracurricular scandals 👉🏾🌈

  19. Asians REALLY hate Carmelo A. They honestly think Jeramy Lin was better, that’s how crazy fans are! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  20. The reason the NBA is, and SHOULD BE, like that is because it is the only team sport that a team ONLY plays 5 players at a time therefore each player has wayyyyy more attention than players of other sports and it is also the only team sport where ONE player can take a team to the playoffs, to the championship and possibly even win a championship by himself almost. So when the players that have all these individual stats, individual awards and/or the respect to be called a “Superstar”, they are held to a higher standard and are expected to win a ring, etc.

  21. FIRST OFF, I love Melo! But I see all these comments saying Melo couldn’t win a ring because of all the superstars that teamed up or Melo should’ve teamed up and took the shortcut and he’d have a ring too! Not necessarily a true narrative y’all are painting. Let’s not forget he had “not drafted by the team” star team mates before all of them did! We forgetting when he got Iverson to Denver? Or how about when he forced his way to NY to play with Amare? Or when he then forced his way to OKC to team up with Westbrook and Paul George? Let’s also not forget that Melo was suppose to be the 3rd guy to Lebron and Wade! Him not being able to be patient and instead pushing his way out of Denver too quick to go play with Amare is the only reason he didn’t play with Lebron and Wade! So Melo definitely had his fair amount of shots to get a ring FOR SURE!
