Cmon Mitch…. just say Champagnie screwed up in the last minute.. lost the ball twice..gave up 5pts and we lost by 5pts…2 wasted possesions….and we sucked from 3 tonight…as usual… nothing new but keep shooting right?

Maybe Castle only playing 13 minutes wasn’t a great idea. Mitch isn’t ready for this.
Some poor TOs and no Castle in the 4th was the downside, Champagnie got hot to bring the team back, poor TOs at the end but missing Castle was a downside
Mitch isn’t doing a good job exploiting advantageous match-ups. There's still a lack of discipline that is needed for them to take the next step. With Embiid and Drummond out, Vic should've had a field day.
Vic is a wierd type of competitive, and not the type that win games. You cannot rely on him to get a bucket when the game slows down, which is a big flaw in his game.
Dominant players like Embiid, Giannis, AD, Joker exploit their match-ups, Vic doesn't do this and is often passive aggressive.
Maybe put your proven rookie in that’s been aggressive the entire game

mitch had a horrific coaching performance tonight. all good though hes been pretty solid other wise
No accountability, Julian over there selling the game and this dude acts like he doesn’t have any other players on the bench. Team is cold from the 3 and what do they do, keep shooting more 3s!!!

…I think the was his worst coached game so far…castle had 17 points and vassell was struggling…and castle was on the bench… castle should of been playing… it's only going to make vassell think he's untouchable playing mediocre all the time…some time you have to bench them for the rest of the game so they can play better…tough love…and Julian should be starting over barnes…
Why we didn't attack the paint in 2nd half I don't know. They had no bigs, had to guard Wemby on the perimeter, it should've opened up lanes to abuse there small lineups. We got out rebounded.. scored less points in the paint… Wemby had 3 shots in the paint… and only 2FT attempts??? Wtf where is the nasty and capatilise on your advantage in being younger, bigger. Not every scoring opportunity needs to be a step back jump shot Vassell.
That turnover from the steal pissed me off and made me spike my phone into the ground.

No real bigs & Wemby shooting 13 of 19 shots from 3? Why not take advantage of a 7'5 guy near the paint? Not good coaching in my view.
A young coach, learning his trade. He will only continue to get better.
What was he thinking not putting Castle back in
Not only was Castle totally underused but the coaching tonight resulted in Vic shooting no more than 6 times within the arc, 6 times for a 7'5 leader ! At this point it is as nonsensical as nonsensical can get. This is the main reason why the spurs lost. Vic is great offensively within the arc and this quality is key if the Spurs aim the playoffs. The coach owns this defeat. Very strange considering how good they played strategically against Portland. And he does not seem to care that much about the loss
The thing is, just when the Spurs have the complete healthy young players who already learned,
but not the young coach…
Mitch can you play Castle more, he was having a game. Read the room.
How can one team lose 18 balls while the other only loses eight? The Spurs need to fix this. With a win, they would have been in 8th place tonight.
