Why did he get so few minutes? When he was in he did great. Barely played the 4th. Maybe we are trying to tank.
The Spurs needed foulbaiting shots while the PHI was in the early penalty, then Castle 🏰 was 7/9 FG with only 2 TOs…

Why can't the Spurs just put Castle in the starting 5? Let him gain confidence to develop and give him more minutes. Barnes is already a vet and reached his peak already. Help Castle be a star and be the 2nd or 3rd option in scoring.

Castle was hot to end the 3rd Q, had 4 fouls, he should’ve played the 4th. Give half of Trey and Keldons mins to Castle, he needs to play 30 mins/game.
Love to see VICTOR destroyed embiid and drummond. I saw the game and their stats (embiid and drunmond) is a complete trash against VICTOR's stat. Also very satisfying to see Stephon Castle (the ROTY awardee this year) play spectacular game. He will win ROTY unanimously this year just like VICTOR last season. Spurs will be the 2nd team in NBA history to have win back-to-back ROTY award.

I don't think Mitch is a bad coach or anything, but you can see he isn't Pop because of the rotations he plays. He doesn't play Castle/Wesley enough unless there are injuries. He plays this Sochan at center with Keldon at PF lineup that is probably the smallest lineup in the NBA a lot now. Mamu gets zero minutes, even though he's exactly the type of guy to bring into a second half when we can't make a shot and see if he can make an impact. I like Mitch, but I do miss Pop because I think Pop wouldn't make these mistakes
