I really wish we could strongarm Lauri Markkanen out of Utah. European players are more prideful and less annoying than American players. Jimmy is a pretentious, spoiled cunt. Pat Riley is a man of integrity and he was right when he said that Jimmy should keep his mouth shut. He gets millions and doesn't want to put in maximum effort. Pat Riley has done everything he can. He couldn't force Portland to trade Lillard to Miami.
It takes two sides to make a trade. This isnt 2k.. their dealing with real money and real people. Bam being friends with everybody hasnt helped. People respecting Jimmy hasnt made people wanna get here.. takes more. Trading all the young players for a aging star wont win a Chip… Jimmy Butler came on as a Heat player. Before nobody was talking about him like that in other places. Jimmy should take less money in that 35-45 mill a year. So we can build a better overall team

Trade everyone except Tyler and the young guys and start a rebuild:
PG: Jovic (maybe not a long term solution, but getting those reps will be amazing for him)
SG: Tyler Herro
SF: Jaime Jaquez (yeah he can play the 4 just like Jimmy, but that's for specific matchups, opposite of what Spo has done 😒)
PF: Pelle Larson (Pelle is the perfect Swiss army knife that should be able to guard most 1-4 in the league, getting reps at stopping opposing PF and getting switches at smaller players will be very helpful)
C: Kelel Ware
This a losing, tanking, but very exciting a promising young core that can develop their offensive and defensive games, hopefully don't get rid of Dru and some guards, so there can be more versatily in the roster. Oh and hopefully keep K Love so he can mentor everyone and especially Jovic Jaime and Pelle. Even if we lost Jimmy and Bam for a bag of chips this makes me way happier than whatever this team is doing rn. Oh, and don't get me started on the Skyforce guys. Bring back Alonde Williams, Cole Swider, and obviously insert my boys Josh Christopher, Keshad Johnson and Isaiah Stevens and develop ALL of them. Now THIS would be truly and exciting young team that will develop at the same time, and make the heat recoup some assets will these core group peaks all at the same time.
Jimmy Butler, as much as I love him, deserves a lot of the blame for this build not working… But why are people not saying the obvious. Pat Riley and the FO deserves MOST of the blame. Why would Jimmy Butler try when they didn't even beat Boston in 2022 after 1 seed. Go to the finals and didn't make ANY moves. ⁉️⁉️⁉️ What were we fans expecting? It's depressing. No one can withstand having to carry that load. I'm sorry, this build failed, and the main reason is Pat Riley never made a good trade
