Bobby is only good against bad teams. His game is basically designed for it and his playoff stats reflect this. Also, I would give up Bobby for Robert Williams in a heartbeat. He can’t shoot, but Brook can, and ideally we’d play them dependent on matchups. I do not think every Big man on your roster needs to shoot. Robert Williams is an elite enough defender who can move his feet and catch labs, which is really all day needs as a guard

You don’t wanna give dame his credit and how critical he is to this team and how dysfunctional they looked and still thinking k middy is the 2nd most important guy. 2nd game vs Cavs without Gianni’s they were in it till carried by dame till the last 2 minutes. 3rd game with Giannis but no dame and they lose by 20+ and it wasn’t even close.
Forget the trades, Horst went all in on this lineup, no more downgrades and loss of draft picks, Rivers needs to step up the training on Robbins and Smith – need a rebounder and Giannis needs to make his free throws at .75
Best replacement for Bobby Portis is probably Jon Collins. He is not as skilled as BP but he can make open 3’s, Finish at Rim. Most importantly, he unlocks some things for this team defensively and he’s athletic. Bobby and Pick would get the job done for sure.
Problem is Jon Collins is on a UGLY Contract. No way he should be getting $26 Million. Bobby gets 12.5 Million. I believe Bobby has a 15% Salary Increase if he’s traded.
I want Oscar Tshiebwe, he's a defensive rebounding monster, he would help us a lot. The problem is he's on a two-way contract, a really valuable player but trickey to get him because of his salary. I don't know if the Jazz would do this, I would trade Stanley Umude for Oscar Tshiebwe, or hope that the Jazz cut him. I'm still disappointed we didn't get Paul Reed when he was available.
