90% of the people commenting on Denver basketball, on all podcasts, have no idea about basketball. A bunch of nonsense in the comments, hatred, jealousy, mindless words without any meaning.
Nuggets can do well in the playoffs if…..all the players have a come to jesus realization that they all have to get better. AND they can if the effort is there. I think of the old old Boston Celtics who hustled on every play, defense and fast break to pull out wins against better teams.
If AG misses time again is it absolutely crazy to try Hunter in his spot? He at least plays with full energy at all times on the court and is a mild threat to shoot it
I think that it MAY make sense to wait till the summer since the ownership is always trying to bargain.
I'd say we might end up really doing more harm than good by moving players now unless we somehow get into a.milti team trade that works for jus.

I can answer the question Swipa posed at the top: no they are not trying to win a championship. If they weee they won’t let Booth use Joker to build up his inept picks.
I can only imagine DEN trading up in the 2023 draft to take Jett Howard instead of Dereck Lively. They would be on here complaining about the front office's incompetence saying how they could have used those draft picks for depth. The Monday morning QBing on here is astounding!
This sounds gossipy but I saw a lot of people on the internets saying there are members of the team that look like they don’t like Murray. Do you think there’s a possibility of some actual disgruntlement or animosity towards Murray right now?
I don’t understand why none of the media ask how Booth can still be employed after building this roster around Jokic. They do nothing well around Joker. Let us put aside the 6 players booth signed to the roster that even he would say “aren’t real guys”. Saric is so bad he is below Zeke on the depth chart. The others can’t score, rebound, play defense, play with effort or energy (Russ aside), shoot, handle ball pressure, run an offense. Name one thing this team does well. They can’t even make Jokic look happy.
But no one in the nuggets media will put the blame where it belongs it belongs.

Same gm, same head coach, same roster, and they win 80% of the games when Russ starts and 50% when he doesn't…..
I think the issues are still the same but this team could be winning more games despite their flaws if Coach Malone would adapt and be more creative.
Make some tweaks.
We have a small sample size of data but the Jokic, Gordon, MPJ, Murray, and Russ mins have a 132 offensive rating…..that's elite!
The Russ/CB backcourt has a 101 defensive rating….that's elite!
I think going elite offense is the way to go while you continue to work on improving the defense….
Start Murray and Russ together!
At this point unless they can get multiple players that can help and move Zeke and Saric along with MPJ they hold tight and see if this team can pull it together. If it doesn’t work out then Booth goes and ownership opens up the pocketbook.
The team vibe tells me, nobody wants to play with Jamal Murray, simple as that. 😅

Can we just accept the fact that Jamal Murray is just a bad fit for this team .. He is the wrench in the gears it is no coincidence that the nuggets play better team ball when Murray is out of the game. The ball gets distributed more and in turn more players get touches this builds up team chemistry and confidence . it allows them to run offensive schemes. When murray is on the floor the offense shuts down because he is so ball dominant the other players don't move they sit and watch Jamal because they defer to him so they don't know what to do a. Jamal is not a point guard he can't bring the ball up the floor confidently especially when the defense applies pressure. This is when Jamal shuts down he will panic with the ball over dribble burn the shot clock resulting in him throwing up a desperation shot or more often than not jumps in the air and throws the ball away resulting in turnovers. Jamal's hero ball antics is so detrimental to the team these habits have been prevalent this his rookie season but most gave him a pass because he had stints where he had great scoring in games but once his knee injury happened he lost his athleticism so now he can't hide those deficiencies anymore Jamal has been injured for most of his career he was exposed last year in the Wolves series. You can see the frustration that Jokic has with the way this team is performing. The nuggets are a run and gun fast break team Murray can't keep up.I think the Nuggets need to trade him for more capital and bring more help in .
Thats the first time Porter had had more than 4 turnovers. Hey Ryan who has the most turnovers for the Nuggets this year. At least MPJ went for 22 pts.
They all need to take a vacation to Cuba and leave Murray there 😀

As a Warriors fan who follows the Nuggets, you guys lack insight, foresight and the overall perspective of the team against the league overall.
I say this because I see the incremental improvements week to week. You guys get so frustrated whenever the team lose and completely lose faith.
If you are going to cover the team, gain different perspectives.
Calvin B gamboled on project dynasty and it didnt pay out..But i see that similar model of Denver as an organization they gamboled when they took Facu Bol bol Bones and on..
Simply their organization model mindset is took some players and look if he become Super star..and player development model not championship wining model.
Instead they already have for 5 years generational talent player in Jokic and maximize his potential of wining every year (surrounding him with good to great talent) and one year they invested in Jokic,Jokic won the ring.. (he should probably have 3 or 4 by now) also instead of trading Jamal those 2 years they w8sted it..
So if Jokic wont to win anything in next 5 years he need to ask for a trade or try to babysit next crop of new players and Jamal(project dynasty) for next 5 years and win nothing…
Turnovers among the starters YTD. Best is CB at 1.3 a game. Then MPJ at 1.5 a game. Then up from there. MPJ is second on the team in shooting efficiency and 1st in 2pt % shots made at 61.8%. Jokic is at 58.4%. However Jokic takes double the amount of 2 point shots than anyone. So if Porter shot that many times I believe he would be several percentage points lower. But he was the #2 player in the NBA last year at 2pt. makes. Jokic is truly the most incredible player I've ever watched. Not only does he average triple doubles now, he's shooting a whopping 58% from 3pt range.
They say they can't trade Murray which they can't because of the recent contract he signed. But on ESPN, I heard them talking about Murray and several said they could do a player swap. And they were talking about who Swipa was just saying. De'Aaron Fox. 😮
Best broadcast of the season. Thanks for taking the gloves off and offering a honest assessment of the team and its outlook. The team took a gamble on Murray and lost. So the outlook is not good unless Braun, Watson and the other young players take a significant step forward during the season. Unfortunately, Malone is not the right coach to go down that road.
You can not win a title with garbage players from the bench. Braun, Wataon, Gordon, Westbrook, all terrible shooters. Nuggets need shooters. Malone needs to go. He can't organize the defense. Every front court in the league is outplaying the Nuggets feont court.
They could win a title, but that is not where they are at right now and the they don't have the best odds. I have no idea what will happen as the season progresses. Anything is possible. Part of my belief that there is always a chance is hard wired in me because Denver is my hometown team. We have shown flashes of brilliance. During a game or two we have also looked like one of the worst teams in the league. With the West being so stacked and East teams like Cleveland and New York coming into the fray it feels like it will be hard for anybody to win it all. There is a lot of tough competition. I will say that we haven't showed cohesion and consistency over 4 quarters except in a few games and that is reason for concern.
Trade Porter Jr. and Murry, gimme Valanciunas and brogdon for one and Bogdanovic and another piece for other. Nuggets with westbrook starting are 6-1
Not that C.Booth is a bball savant but it's just Josh being cheap.
