Stephon castle should be their guy moving forward. They need an elite playmaker and as talented as fox is he’s a scoring guard which is just gonna take possessions away from the young guys. I know it may be out there but I think they should try to pick up hood shcifino. I know he’s been playing g league but he’s a big guard who’s pass first and they could probably get him for dirt cheap because la is prioritizing bronnys development. Technically he’s a 2 guard but his skill set could easily translate to a point guard/ playmaking guard

The Spurs are not going to trade "all their assets" for one player. Ask the Clippers, Timberwolves, and lots of other teams how that works out. In the new CBA, teams will be able to afford one or two superstars, two or three good veterans, and a bunch of young dudes. The single most important assets are going to be first round picks and quality scouting. The Spurs might trade for Fox, but it isn't going to be four or five first round picks.
They'll conserve those picks and try and multiply them.
If they want Wemby to win multiple rings, they should build a strong team all around not get 1 superstar to complement him. KD is arguably the most talented player in NBA history, hes had multiple superstar teammates but the only time he wins rings was when the entire roster was strong.
