I can see it both ways. Minn is giving ATL and Port vibes, but the first year of Gobert was pretty rough too. It took them a year to figure things out, and then they made it to the WCF

We made a trade while KAT is healthy and and looks good. That's all. Bruh you keep thinking the wolves were gonna keep Randle. This trade was never about Randle. It was about getting off kats money. If it wasn’t for that new CBA they could’ve kept KAT.

I like how you mentioned that if this move was made for financial reasons, it doesn't make any financial difference at all. If we wanted to trade a player like Kat for cap, you can get a large haul of picks and expiring contracts. But they didn't because they legit thought Randle and donte were an upgrade. Basically the wolves got scammed.

The purpose of trading Towns was a basketball decision NOT a financial decision. Towns is a postseason liability; a net-negative contributor. Towns is UNPLAYABLE in 50% of his playoff games and he's a low basketball IQ decision-maker.
Towns had to go ASAP.
Acquiring Randle was always for the purpose of trading him this season.
The NBA is a business. The CBA forces teams to trade their higher priced players. Randle is a bad fit for every team he's played for. My condolences to T Wolves fans.
The problem with randle is that he still thinks he is the main guy. When he doesn’t get what he want, you can see it in he attitude and demeanor. Which is why everywhere he went they didn’t want to keep him long term. Even tho imma knicks guy, I feel bad for the t-wolves man. They definitely have regrets in this deal for sure

As a Knick fan I just want to say I just watched Minnesota played Dallas and they played well. The ball spread around to everyone. They really looked good. However there’s a lot of hypocrisy here and I mean a lot. Before the trade at least 90% of the comments of Knicks fans including the media was all about Randle coming back. He’s a 3 times all star!!! Now you can’t get a word out of their mouths and all you hear now is what a great trade the Knicks made criticizing Randle.
