Nuggets should wait to make a trade. Let this season ride out and re-evaluate next year when you have more options (Jamal, AG, and MPJ would all be tradeable) and go from there. I don’t think that anything available right now would fix the nuggets enough to make a title run.

Not sure guys, I’d love to have both MPJ and Zach on the team. Zach + Torrey Craig sounds interesting. Joker needs good shooters and ball handlers around him. Daaron Fox is awesome too.
Matt my guy I agree with you but you gotta argue these points better. Talk about the defensive limitations of that backcourt. Having to run 3 guards or Watson becoming a starter. Talk about the rebounding and size miss matches that MPJ gives us. Talk about who is going to replace Zeke's roster spot etc.

Nuggets fans have it all backwards. Murray not being able to handle on ball pressure doesn’t mean you need secondary ball handling. It means you need a ball handler that can handle on ball pressure.
What makes the Celtics and okc good is not that they can all dribble and shoot or whatever. They’re good because most or all of them can defend on the perimeter.
We all know that jokic can be attacked in the pick n roll. Who on the nuggets roster can protect jokic? Kcp was the one who did that, while also being able to space the floor.
The nuggets need 3nd and I bet you that if you had a kcp type left and replaced Murray with a 3nd the nuggets wouldn’t have any problems.

Jokic frustration is ONE BIG BS the dude is getting paid 1mil per week while in Serbia you should work like 60 years 9-5 so he better play the best he knows instead of acting like little princess.
Matt is great with betting but I think the best thing moving forward for Locked on Nuggets it’s to have Swipa and Ryan as the hosts.
Jokic looked less frustrated and the team looked more competent when Facu and Austin was the backcourt. Jokic is pretty fair tbh. He isn’t ever angry at the talent gap. Because he doesn’t believe in it. He’s just trying of playing with guys that don’t know how to be professionals. Now I’d argue he and Malone have enabled Jamal’s unprofessional behavior his entire tenure, but yeah. Jokic is most visibly frustrated when people aren’t where they are supposed to be. When they don’t make the right play. Jokic gave the team 20 plus games of everything he has and that was his grace period. That was his time to give everyone time to catch up. They haven’t. Jokic is right to be pissed. Also, Matt can’t talk about leading by example and then always give Jamal a pass for showing up out of shape and acting like an immature entitled baby.
Matt – Jamal has sucked all season long. Even in his “good games” everything comes difficult- watching him dribble 12 seconds off the shot clock trying to get and failing to get separation is like watching someone drown in a swimming pool.
Yes- He has the ability to make very difficult shots and he’s very clutch. He’s a 6th man being payed 50m per year – and I’m tired of pretending he’s not.

Murray’s health and slow starts is an issue FOR SURE, but I promise you a “bum” could never AVERAGE 26, 7, 5, 1.5 stocks on 49/42/93 in b2b playoffs on the way to WCF & TITLE (39 game sample) including 28.3, 6.4, 5.2, 2.4 stocks on elite splits (64% TS%) in 2 CONFERENCE FINALS and joined LeBron 2X, Magic 2X, MJ 1X as the only players EVER to avg 20+ & 10+ APG in the FINALS.
A “bum” doesn’t become 5th player EVER to have a 30 point triple double in finals game on team that won title (joining LeBron Jokic Curry James Worthy all 1st ballot HOF).
Murray has the 8th best Playoffs Points per 100 possessions (minimum 65 games he’s played and 52.6% eFG% he has). Here’s the Top12 (since 1974 playoffs as that’s when per 100 possessions goes back to or else Kareem would be ahead of him):

I get being frustrated, but don’t ignore what he’s done at his peak either. Even last year 23-24 RS he was 14th in OBPM, 19th in BPM, & 19th in VORP per game with some amazing games in winter/spring 2024 @ Celtics win 35, 8, 6 on 15-21…31, 8, 7 at my Pacers (I was there live for it and he + Jokic both amazing especially in the clutch)…Last yr in 23-24 in 59 games Per100 Murray AVERAGED 33.3, 10.2, 6.5, 2.5stocks +9 on 48/43/85 with Nuggets 61 win pace in games he played vs 46 win pace in 23 games he didn’t play.
The last 45-50 games of 23-24 season Murray AVERAGED 22, 7, 4, 2 stocks on 60% TS% with nuggets winning at 60-65 win pace.
He has NOT been that since late RS injury right before playoffs (outside of a few good stretches like game 5 vs lakers, game 7 vs wolves or last 5 games before this bad game at Suns where he AVERAGED 24, 6, 5, 3 stocks on 47/39/88 and 10 PPG in 4th with many clutch makes) which is VERY FRUSTRATING, but I won’t believe he can’t get back to that or close to it bc his peak offensively is one of the best guards offensively EVER (he’s the only player ever over 39 game streak in playoffs to AVG 26, 7, 5, 1.5 stocks on 49/41/93 especially with 54/52/95 in 4th averaging 8.2 PPG in 4th to go to 2020 WCF & 2023 title).
It’s possible injuries have caught up to him and he’s damaged goods but I won’t personally believe that for a 27yr old unless I see much bigger sample size.
Also to those who want him gone in summer you need to be cheering for Jamal too instead of hate watchin him bc he won’t be tradable if he’s not good rest of yr!

Did no one learn from Nene… very good player, but lacks aggression? MPJ is the same way. He may make aggressive plays. He might even have a great quarter, but there is no consistency That said. I'm much further out on Jamal than MPJ, but either way, one of those contracts needs to become 2 solid rotation players that don't need 3 years of development.
