Knicks TRADE PLANS For Robinson & Achiuwa! Pistons Center Seen As PERFECT FIT For NY | Knicks News

Knicks Insider with the Athletic recently answered questions via his mailbag and one of the questions was dealing with NY’s plans on Mitchell Robinson & Precious Achiuwa. He also identified and suggested that the Knicks trade for Isaiah Stewart if they were looking to make a move. After breaking down the situation, depending on the value, the Knicks might target Stewart. 1. Agreed Troy. Leon will wait and see where we’re at as well as Mitch before deciding to trade. He just wants to make sure he has options at the deadline…

  2. Should keep precious but he thrives more with more play so if you won’t play him a good amount of mins it might be best to trade him for someone taller

  3. WE DONT NEED THESE TRADES. Man run this team acclimating new players in rotation would be dumb precious has chemistry long time with og hart Brunson deuce etc why do that when it seems it takes about 25-30 games at least to acclimate chemistry is most important thing right now

  4. Archie’s is young and getting better what are we doing we don’t need to trade just play your youth you got plenty of c meters Mitch sims and hukporti we don’t need to trade both of them stop with this trade stuff trading just to trade

  5. One of the criticism we have of the Knicks is our depth/bench. Trading two for one here doesn't make sense, especially since Robinson is a top-tier center(if he stays healthy.) If he stays healthy we can put him in when we're up by 10 and he will hold. If you want to bully a team you play Towns how Minnesota played him but with an active role. either way i rather hold Robinson as a top tier-defensive minded center. Achiuwa is a bit more hit or miss but holds value with his flexibility.

  6. There's no need to push your chips in just yet stand down and wait until the trade deadline if nobody available that makes sense stand pat and ride it out and finish out the season…imagine that 😊

  7. I think this is a great move . He brings a toughness that’s needed . They trying to change the culture . This may be a Patrick Ewing influence.

  8. LEAVE THE TE AM ALONE YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE when precious came back just alone he had 10 rebounds against San Antonio 4 on the offense glass when Mitch comes back even if you play him very little he'll still have about five or six rebounds do not touch this team you'll be making a big mistake

  9. I we should wait for the 2025 offseason. You got Naz Reid and Myles Turner as free agents Knicks can sign if Mitch doesn’t work out!! 🔥💙👍🏾

  10. Good video. Keep up the good work. Here's an outsider's opinion. Reality is that the Knicks are probably stuck waiting for Robinson to come back. This isn't a bad thing for the Knicks. I don't believe the Knicks can afford to make any more trades right now. Trading for Isaiah Stewart is a gamble and seems unnecessary. Yeah, he shot 38 percent from 3 last season but what about this year. Oh, shit Stewart's percentage has dropped to 23 percent this year. Yuk! He's only 6-8 so he's undersized for a center. You know, why don't you just keep Achiuwa and forget Stewart. Achiuwa is also 6-8 only 25 years old and is shooting 33 percent from 3 so far this season and can play a little center if need be. Achiuwa is also out rebounding Stewart this year. The grass is always greener on the other side, isn't it? I think Knicks fans have been spoiled by the excitement of the Knicks making 11 total trades over the last year and a half. Now it seems like Knicks fans can't be happy unless they get another trade and damn soon. Achiuwa and Stewart are almost the same damn player. Relax.

And there's the Jonas Valanciunas rumors. The Knicks would probably have to trade Robinson to get Jonas. Believe it or not but Mitchell Robinson is only 26 years old. Jonas is 32 and he's a dinosaur. Never had great footspeed or lateral quickness when he was young but he's showing his age now. He's big but he's not the defensive stalwart that Gobert was playing next to Towns so I'm not sure pairing him with Towns in the starting lineup would work as well. Robinson would be much better in the starting lineup playing a Gobert role next to Towns. Jonas is also only shooting 11 percent from 3 so far this season where his career average is currently 34 percent. What's up with that? Answer: He's probably getting old and he's slipping. Why rush out to trade for that? Trading Robinson for Valanciunas would be mortgaging the Knicks future. A knee jerk trade of Robinson or Achiuwa (for these players mentioned) would be a mistake. This advice is coming from someone who isn't a Knicks fan, so I really don't care what the Knicks do. I just find the Knicks current roster and salary cap situation to be an extremely interesting experiment, and I can't wait to see how it turns out. As an opposing fan, I'd kind of like the Knicks to make these trades and fuck up their team to be honest. You watch. Leon Rose is going to get antsy and he's going to over adjust and it's going to come back to bite you over the long haul.

  11. He’s not a Center though . He’s shorter than Robinson and Achewa. He’s just Athletic and strong so they play him at Center. We would have another under Sized Forward playing the Center position. We need a legit 7 footer. We got Moses Brown back. Bring him in from the G league for a few games and try him out. No need in trading Achewa. See if we can re sign him next year and utilize the bench a little more. Huckporti is good! Use him, Bring Brown up but no need in making this trade. We’re going to go backwards cause he’s not a legit Center.

  12. I think Rose would ABSOLUTELY make a move giving up draft comp for a top level rim protector. We are in WIN NOW MODE. And the high level rim protector is kind of the final piece we need to complete the roster for an ideal Thibs defense. The guys on the list right now I could see us trade for: Kessler (prob most ideal but its Ainge) ,Richards (not as good a rim protector but maybe they can coach him up), Poetl (this might be ideal but at 19.6M will cost Both Mitch and Achiuwa in a salary match), and Stewart. I believe Leon will probably pull one of these guys off but we will see soon.

  13. Bro stop with fake rumors, if you don't have any real news no need to talk about fake trade plans. Your streams have been the same. All you do is change TOPIC TITLES,. I am not subscribing to your fake kinks channels. Too many click baits. You are just another fake Knicks wanna be anchor. ———-> Dislike button!

  14. Ill take "Stewart in a New york "Turn style jumping" He reminds me of a More Athelic Charles Oakley". "He has Knick persona". He has physicaicality, He is A Enforcer and has big man intensity and "he is tough and can straight up play a real big man role. "He doesn't take "shorts" on the court ether. Get em west!
