Realistically, LeBron minutes would have to be cut if the Lakers want efficient production out of him. Kinda like how Kerr keeps Steph on the bench for long stretches so he has enough legs to run around screens hard and still make shots. LeBron would have to be ok with his PPG going down in result.
This can only really be achieved if the Lakers can survive non-LeBron minutes. The defense needs to survive which is unrealistic with the current roster.
