I really think the Dubs derailed the Kings momentum in 2023 and it led to them declining. 2023 was supposed to be the year the Kings made the WCF and lost to the Nuggets. It was supposed to be the deep playoff run that gives the team momentum for the future. They would hav beaten LA if they matched up. But the Dubs won that game 7 and it completely altered their history and derailed their momentum. They were just a play in team the ext year and bad this year. Even though they beat Golden State in the play in, it didn’t matter. Their fate was sealed already
Im a kings fan bro but who thought this roster was going to do anything but make noise in the second round? This team was never going to compete with Boston anyways. Edit: This season should've been about finding a piece or team building and preparing for a busy off-season.
"Another day, another baffling move by the Kings' front office. Firing Mike Brown? Really? This guy took a team with so much untapped potential and gave it structure, fight, and an identity on the court. Sure, the results weren’t instant championship-level, but what did you expect? Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither is a winning franchise.
It’s hard not to feel like Kings’ management has no concept of continuity or long-term vision. You can’t keep hiring and firing coaches like they’re interchangeable and expect consistent results. At some point, you have to look in the mirror and realize it’s not the coaches; it’s the system—or lack thereof.
This is just another chapter in the Kings' long history of mismanagement, and honestly, it’s exhausting as a fan. Until there’s a serious change in the way this organization is run, we’ll just keep spinning in circles. Frustrated doesn’t even begin to cover it!"
This probably won’t happen but what if somehow the bucks trade Fox for Dame because he never wanted to be in Milwaukee and Fox wants to go to a competitive team
im just confused cause what does this even address… im not a big x and o guy when it comes to coaching but this team's consistent collapse in 2nd halves mainly have to do with players missing open shots, making careless turnovers, and not closing out on opposing teams. i understand his rotations are mind-numbing at times, but if you're gonna make a drastic move to shake things up, why start with the dude who's literally made a cultural and mindset reset that the team needed for 10+ seasons?
Sean Cunningham said that it was not De'Aaron, but others in the locker room who had problems with Brown. Going back to even last game, it's pretty easy to see who. He's a great voice, but most of it comes down to bad decision-making and rotations as well as no adjustments by Mike Brown.
D'Aaron Fox wants big big bucks but isn't a leader, and the other shooter (edit: DeRozan) keeps getting injured. Fox' attitude has negatively affected the team and that is why i don't follow him.
Bruh…it’s the kings please stop giving that trash ass team attention, Daron fox overrated and this team lost to an injured pelicans team…they went from bad to below average…wonder why media only talks bout big teams cause teams like the kings never and will never be anything but bottom feeders
As a Kings fan I've learned better than to ever have hope for this team. Why would you fire Mike Brown when its clearly the lack of talent on the roster.
First of all great show and you make some excellent points..Bottom line….Until Kings ownership does some real soul searching and takes responsibility for their bad decisions over the years the Kings will continue to be a mediocre basketball team…

What are the Odds Fox gets Moved now

Brown's philosophy of 3 and D does not work just because you want it too, These are not the Celtics, and was a very poor 3 and D defense
Lol the Kings never learn.

Fox I'm outta here.
Every team seems to get better after they fire Mike Brown. The mistake was giving him an extension after one first round playoff exit.
If I’m the kings I’m on the phone with Houston
If I was a Kings player, I would ask for a trade immediately.
Kings need to hire doc rivers when he is available
Guys kings suck again
This is equivalent to the titans firing Mike vrabel
2:51 this exactly how i understood that one reporters question for westbrook. the reporter should've just worded it better
