  1. fire the entire team. starting with that dimwit mcnair and move your way down with all the softies on the team. the queens are done.. for a long time.

  2. Here’s what’s next: sucking, sucking, and more sucking. Another 10-15 years of busts, poor decisions, and basement dwelling. 👎

  3. Doug Christie will reignite the Kings winning ways just like his playing years with the kings.

  4. A rough day for Sacramento no doubt. From the outside looking in I personally did not see a reason to fire Mike Brown at this time.

However, there is no way to tell how others in the organization felt about him and/or how things transpired.

One thing I do know is that the Pistons game was one of the… If not the strangest endings I have ever witnessed…

It makes me happy to see the city behind Mike Brown no matter what the real reasons were why Mike was fired aside from what's seen on the surface.

There is no good way to fire someone. Whether on the phone, in person, over Zoom, or through a text message. I personally wouldn't mind being fired via text or phone call. I don't need to be in the presence of the person that just canned me. I can just keep it moving and no walk of shame.

Let's look at a different side. Mike gets millions of dollars, the city is behind him, and his legacy will live on forever as the coach that brought the Kings back to the playoffs after nearly two decades. The coach that brought so much joy to this city.

Today we mourn the firing of Mike Brown and tomorrow we celebrate the opportunity for Doug Christie as the new voice of the Sacramento Kings.

Let's hope Doug can motivate the team, win games, and help them find the joy they played with just 2 seasons ago!

  5. Mike Brown wants his guys to be Jrue Holiday and Herb Jones… and they’re just not. For the last 2 seasons, all he talks about is defense when the roster just wasn’t constructed that way. And he just never went back to the mindset from 3 seasons ago.

  6. The GM and Owner are losers who never ever take accountability for their horrible rosters. This is their fault!

  7. Good luck Sacramento Kings you will never win anything with the current ownership they have their head up the A– ! Coach of the Year 11/2 years ago now fired What a joke !

  8. Its truly sad about MB. The way they let him go was so unethical in so many ways. Business or not you just don't fire a person like that.

  9. Kings will always b second hand club.. what’s with this attitude in the team? Brown has a ring.. no one in the team from front office down to team roster, knows what it takes to be a winner.. sad

  10. Kings are going to regret firing Mike Brown. Kings should fire Monte McNair and trade Fox immediately. Fox never takes the blame, I believe he’s lost interest in the team, we should’ve kept Haliburton and traded Fox to the Pacers for Sabonis. I’m so over the Kings bullshit.

  11. Kings are a laughingstock. Kerr said it well when asked about Brown getting fired. Kerr said he feels very fortunate to work for an organization that values continuity. Amen. We know Vivek does not value continuity at all. He loves the constant chaos and change of his organization.

  12. Vivek is horrible as well as his daughter who cos plays different NBA jobs lol we need a competent owner

  13. Somebody in Minnesota circle say it funny Devin Carter got clear switch is a defensive guy. Mike Brown got fire. And Rich Paul will be in Los Angeles to meeting Sacramento front office tonight to request a trade. That is what we are hearing in the Northwest Wisconsin.

  14. A worthwhile news report would be hearing from the minority owners. Seems obvious Vivek just blew it. He should be forced to sell the team.

  15. Hope Doug does well, it makes sense given his history with the Kings. My favorite Doug Christie moment is when he uppercut Rick Fox during a pre season game 😂

  16. Mike Brown is going to make $50mln for a losing playoff appearance…shows how players and coaches are coddled where everyone focuses on the way of the firing rather than the poor performance…and yes with two all stars and now 3 all stars..MB should make the playoffs each year.

  17. Doug coming in to a good situation…here we go making excuses for him before he even starts. This is a high 40 win team talent wise and not a rebuild.
