Jokic is an actual traffic cone defender under the rim, can't even put his hands up. In the last 10 games today was the first time he put his hands up in a layup line, and that too even just 2 times. The rest of the time he has his elbow out trying to box out the guy who just floats it over his head lol

The collapse of this team over 2 years is simple. This guy is a generational talent that requires year to year evaluation. 3-5 year windows don't matter. Jamal and AG look like they are old men out there, when available.
Just a question for those who want Jokic to do more defensively. Since he does not jump well, or have great lateral quickness, would it be smart to have him be very aggressive on defense, and get into foul trouble? imo, he is too talented offensively to risk having him in foul trouble very often. Since he carries such a heavy load on offense, the Nuggets need to make up for his limitations on defense. He does rebound, deflect passes and get steals. The only thing he can't do very well is protect the rim.

Jokic is absolutely right. When AG, KCP, BB, RB and JG came to Denver, we can see the difference. Not only did they bring the skills set to the Nuggets, they also brought the winning desire, fire and spirits to the Nugs. Maybe their former teams didn't have a guy as good as Jokic as their teammate. Playing with Jokic for a long time will make his teammates slowly rely on him too much and forget they get paid to do their jobs.
Let me translate to the person that says they’re so passive they’re not vulgar they don’t throw tantrums like LeBron James if that’s what passion is no thank you, so they get beat by the number one office in the league and you guys talk like they’re doomed.
