As so many times before FVV and J Green shooting us out of games with lots of shots and lots of misses. They went away from what was working and tried to pad their stats, and it cost the team. It happens far too often. I want Fvv and JG traded off this team for more level consistent performers. NITHIER is consistent, accurate, or efficient. If the rockets want to wait till the off-season to make a major trade, let them make a trade for a good role Player using our expiring contracts and 2nd rounderst to solidify what we got this year.
Ime should have called a timeout I know Sengun was cooking but we could have drew something up to get a better look
Also Dillion Brooks was missed in this game at least in the last possesion. Amen kept ANT in check all game but they did the smart thing by getting Amen away from him once he got Tate it was over and he made that step back three
It sucks to loose this game because we wasted a Sengun master class and Amen played well. Hopefully the boys can learn from this and get the job done.
But yeah the bench especially at the Center position is awful. I don’t understand why Ime don’t give Jeff Green some minutes at the 5.
It shows we need to get a center by the deadline because Adams is washed and Landale is unplayable
Also yeah the Rockets did a horrible job at guarding the three point line in the first half
Guardplay on this team sucks. We need a new consistent guard tandem. Tari and dillion are not the reason as they aren't chunking up 30+ 3 point shots and missing 20 of them. Our guards CAN'T SHOOT! End of story!
Mid-season injuries pile up and legs are tired. You get some tough losses. This is just another thing a young team has to learn to push through. The young guys will improve and we will eventually get someone who can shoot. This year is just a warm up waiting for the Devin Booker trade. It would be nice if we could consolidate a little and get a shooter. This loss was/is not a cause for concern.
