We already got Vando/Rui/Cam, wtf? I guess DFS 3’s are enough. Lakers needed & been needing offense. Guess Vando ain’t comin back & Rob knows Rui & Cams 3’s are inconsistent. Should’ve gotten Z.Levine. Guess we have to count on D.Kinecht/AR15 & S.Milton? Trade grade. C-
Lengthens the bench and will hopefully help put up some resistance when 2nd unit comes in instead of getting smoked every game. If these centers can come back and do anything they'll be solid defensively come postseason challenging shooters forcing them to the shot blockers.
I personally don’t like it as a move in it self but if more actual does come then I can be ok with this where does he play 3 over rui? Or is he a situation guy like vando idk I like the skill set I just don’t think it fits cleanly as is

This trade makes sense from every angle. DFS is a great defender, three point shooter, and a great role player. Russell is a good player, but he did not fit well with this team.
Shake Milton is a very underrated move!!! He is a consistent shooter from deep. It just gives us another shooter with size on him which would be good for switching on defense. Only time will tell obviously but I do think these are excellent moves!!
Now we just gotta get a big somewhere man. We need a 7 footer 240+ pounder!!!
I still think we should go for Jonas or Nick Richards. Someone like that…lakers gotta make a move man. Forget getting another "STAR" player. We already have our big 3 within AD, Bron and Reaves…everyone else gotta get in where they fit in and contribute. No point of having a fourth player who takes 15+ shots a game, time to use this new wing depth I believe Rui, Finney and Milton collectively would help us a lot offensively.
Adding Shake Milton is pretty clutch He’ll play limited back up minutes. And in adding shake to the trade I assume Gabe is otw out now too It hurts a bit because I liked DLo as a person. He brought a different energy to the team. But he didn’t seem like his heart was in it this year. He needed a new start. Hopefully he goes off in Brooklyn again.
cameron johnson next for the lakers so they would have 2 decent 3andD wings with Lebron. Trading out jalen hood-schifinho, cam reddish, vando plus +2 first round picks. lakers can then use either lbj or AR as pg, pg-reaves, sg- cam johnson, sf- dfs, pg-pf- lebron, c- AD with dalton and rui coming off the bench is a wicked team.

Good move. We lost our best ball handler but we still have enough guys to playmake. A 2 way guard OR backup big is next then the team is set.
