Finally Kerr was forced to play kuminga and look what happened. Could have had this 2 years ago if he would have just developed and trusted him.
Every time Podz plays less 20 minutes, Warriors wins 😅
We need to seriously consider trading Dray. We can't lose Wiggins and Dray is only effective in the motion offense which we need to change up since it no longer works. Losing Draymond would cause us to take a hit on defense unless we get a real center. Then we wont feel his absence as much.

I disagree with matt on the draymond take. His best position is the 4 so he can play with a real rim protector behind him. The real centers in the league (zubac, edey, mobley/allen, jokic) give him trouble because he’s just too small to hold up defensively the whole game.
Biggest problem with Zion is his lack of discipline which is why he can’t manage his weight and he’s always getting hurt. No amount of good basketball play will entice Kerr into dealing with that.

The Dubs don’t need JK to be a substitute for Steph Curry. If there’s a good comp for JK it’s probably a younger and saner Kwahi Leonard. Curry is 36 and is bound to decline. The other forgotten man by Kerr is Moses Moody
JK is a small forward. Put him at the 4 and he is too small. Same size as Green but Green is a one-off. Wigs as a natural shooting guard. Kerr is playing everyone too small.

This is such an interesting season. Draymond Green has been available for so much of the season (unlike previous seasons), that it seems like folks have forgotten how much the defense falls off of a cliff when he's off of the floor for any significant portion of time. It's defense that's been keeping the Dubs afloat. And Wiggs is top 6 in the NBA in defense at least this season. Wemby, AD, Dyson Daniels, Wiggs, 2 more out there for sure… maybe best not to trade him for any old 7 footer available.

Kerr only played Step, wigs, JK,Dray and TJ. For 3 games if I remember correctly. That is playing everyone at their natural positions. There 5 best players in my opinion. Good size. Good D. Ok offense. If Kerr played this starting 5 by they’d gel by now. Motion offense is old hat, too small, wears too short of team with three guards, and better teams have figured out how to stop it.
Really?… understand who he got these stats. against. What about doing that against teams like Nuggets… of course there is plenty for him to learn and he might achieve some but his IQ is not helping to progress faster. Clock is ticking!!
I believe JK played a lot of Wiggins role and excelled yesterday. Only issue is his team defense. I still think we need a consistent 3 point shooter as the 2nd option.
It’s pretty simple. Play Kuminga 32-35min a night and feature him in the offense, don’t just stick him in the corner. And close with him. Make the defense fear someone else in crunch time besides Steph.
Trading Wiggs is easier because his contract is good to trade and he duplicates JK skills… but I’m not giving him away unless you get something substantial. Honestly if you got the eating machine (Zion Williamson) then Dray should go. I just don’t think Zion is a Kerr type of center! DO-NOT trade JK unless it’s for Yoniss.
I don't think Kuminga can be a No 1 in a championship-caliber team. He doesn't have a naturally smooth shooting motion and great ball handling ability. But he could definitely be a solid No 2.
what a joke, now everybody is in the kuminga bandwagon? By now Kuminga and Moody should be playing over 30 minutes and they should be starters. They should be getting real playing time 2 years ago. But kerr stop their development. And he is destroying their career. Kuminga and Moody and TJD, are real talent, but kerr still refuse to let them play. No wonder why the warriors have another bad season. There are still many Kerr apologist. If they don't fire kerr, the warriors are done again.
Kerr has clearly prioritized Podz over Kuminga. During JK's first two years Kerr hid behind the excuse of "we need to develop him slowly". But that same standard doesn't apply to Podz, who'd miss if he tried to throw a golf ball into the Pacific Ocean.

Wiggins quiet 20 points game led to the championship in 2022. I just can’t see JK could be at that level in this and next 2 years for Curry.

Warriors need to focus on getting a center. That should be priority number 1. I'm sick and tired of Steve Kerr playing 6"6 Draymond Green at center. Idk why people think that's okay. We get killed down low. It's a lay up line any time we play small. Steve Kerr also needs to change things up. Motion offense and small ball lineups isn't gonna go anywhere in today's league. This dude keeps putting out 3 guard lineups…. to go along with running Green at center. It's times Warriors are doing good, n be up like 5 or 10…. Steve Kerr makes his horrible rotations and next thing you know were down 10 or 15. Warriors gotta do better. We been needing a center for years. Draymond Green is a power forward and he is super small at the 4, for him to be playing center is ridiculous. He is 6"6, Kobe Bryant was 6"6. As matter fact, Klay Thompson is 6"7 n i remember Steve Kerr even playing him at the 4. Warriors have to stop playing players out of position. Stop adding a million guards to the lineup every year. No matter what lil small success Warriors have we will get destroyed in the playoffs once we face a team with size. Steve Kerrs motion offense has been exposed any time Warriors play a good team during a meaningful game. And what happens is we end up doing pick and role all night long…. Curry having to carry the team. Warriors need a center and a superstar if they gonna have any type of shot at Curry getting ring number 5. Boston is most likely due to repeat if they are fully healthy. Warriors currently struggling to stay in the play in situation. We are very far off from contending. Just keeping it real 💯
