Lakes finally not counting on vando
For me, the one player the Lakers should have considered going big on is bam adebajo. During international play, he and Davis absolutely shutdown the interior. I think that is a trade that would move the needle. But the Heat are likely unwilling to move him and the cost would decimate what little depth and talent the team has (the heat would likely want Reeves and knecht and both firsts, plus Russell to match salaries) which would leave them as a non-contender anyway. So, I don't think there is any feasible trade that makes them contenders. The team needed to move James and Davis two years ago to do an effective rebuild. Now, they are stuck in mediocrity purgatory for the foreseeable future.

As a nets fan I think it helps both teams DFS is really good piece for the lakers and DLO back in Brooklyn is going to be fun to watch him and Claxto, but the picks are the difference maker for the nets 3 seconds helps and we got 3 seconds from the Schroeder trade its look like a bright future for the nets

No one is going to pay DFS 20-23 millions for multiple years at age 32!!! Especially with the new CBA. I can see him getting 16-20 max.
It's a good move because the Lakers wanted him for quite some time.👍 They still could use a center like Nick Richards from the Hornets or Walker Kessler from Utah. That should be the next move Rob Pelinka and the Lakers should make.✌️
