  1. This is Pacer basketball and a team effort, 6 in double figures. When we run and play aggressive ball we are special.

  2. Hopefully the Pacers can keep it going. They win 4 straight on the road on a west coast trip and have to come back to play the Thunder at home. It seems like the couple of losses came down to fatigue.

  3. Tyrese looked great tonight, being aggressive and getting to the rim is a huge plus to this team. And his mid range jumpers have looked smooth lately! Its a great show when hes splashing 5-8 threes, for we have much better success when he mixes it all together on top of his usual assists and playmaking.
Edit: its been great to have Nembhard back with his defense and aggressive offense!

  4. The headline is: Points in the Paint! I don't know if the Pacers ARE back… But they were tonight, at least.

Seeing Ty going to the rim gave me 2023 flashbacks (in a great way!). Even though his 3s weren't falling, those drives were creating good looks, at least. This is, by far, his best game of the season. Well done, Ty!

Having Nephew Drew back is huge for the offense, too. He draws heat off of Ty, or punishes them if they don't. Everyone talks about his importance, defensively, but this time without Drew should be making it clear how important he is offensively, too.

The rest of the team was great, too. Crashing the boards. Not giving up defensively. Not making too many bad fouls. Good cuts. Keeping the pace high. … There was even a stretch when neither TJ nor Ty was on the floor.

If the guys can get back to their relentless drive for points in the paint or open 3s, great things will happen. Except for Siakam, who has the forever green light to shoot middie fadeaways whenever he sees fit.
