For all this talking against Vivek, the last time I checked this team would be called the Seattle Sonics if not for the King's owner stepping up to buy this franchise, so perhaps we can show a tiny bit of gratitude that we still have a team to gripe about. I'm not crazy about the direction the team is heading this season, but because of Vivek we can at least say we'll get better next year, or via trade, or via Devin Carter beginning his career with the Kings, etc. The unfortunate reality is that the best man to coach the Kings was probably Jordi Fernandez, but because of his leaving and Mike Brown's prior success in Sacramento making him the coach before he left for the Brooklyn job was almost an impossibility. That's not Vivek's fault. That's not Monty McNair's fault. It's basically just bad Sacramento luck and we've had plenty of it.
