  1. Can’t stop laughing when Kenny was trying to show some defensive examples and LA kept getting cooked

  2. Come on Kenny when are you gonna talk about my heart and hustle magic top 4 scorers this year out with injury right now and still beating teams getting 3 20+ point comebacks this year

  3. i just hope the lakers shooters’ curse doesn’t come into effect again LMAO 😂

  4. DFS was an amazing pick up for the Lakers and getting Shake Milton was great as well, didn’t give up any FRPs and the Lakers have many assets and expiring contracts left to make 1-2 major trades before the deadline. They will definitely lock themselves as a top 3 seed if they continue improving the roster before the deadline.

  5. Can’t wait for the meta, new player all Lakers fans wanted struggles and then in quick succession Lakers fans call new guy trash and worst player ever.

  6. And here we go lol just because its the bum ass Lakers people like this dude are going to glaze Dorian like he’s Scotty pippen . Such tunnel vision ppl

  7. The nets aren't losing anything from this trade because they're trying to rebuild after the KD, Kyrie, and Harden flop. They've accumulated 15 first round picks and 16 second round picks for the next 7 years.

  8. Let this be a reminder that the Timberwolves offloaded DLo to the Lakers and in return got Mike Conley, Nickeil Alexander Walker and 3 second round picks. One of those picks turned into Leonard Miller.

  9. This trade doesn't move the needle at all. If anything, it's a downgrade (just to save some money).

Everyone is looking at this like DFS is an upgrade just because he shot a better 3P% this year, while ignoring the fact that going by their entire career averages, their percentages are roughly identical (37% DLo vs 36% DFS). DLo might be having an off-year, but I still think the net benefits outweigh his streakiness.

Naturally, just due to size and position, DFS is gonna be better at defending, but you're also losing a vocal leader that's been with the organization for years. In every huddle, you always see DLo, AD and Bron strategizing. The rest of the team isn't on that level as far as veteran experience and game IQ. DFS has been in the league almost as long, but this is a whole new team. A whole different system to learn.

I know people love to blame DLo for all of the Lakers' troubles after a random airball, but I truly don't believe replacing him with an older ~8 PPG player brings them any closer to fixing this team. The Lakers' issues go beyond one player's individual shooting and defensive effort.

  10. Lakers are number 5 in the west. The Lakers can hang with the likes of Dallas and Golden State

  11. If you’re doing a tank-a-thon, the last guy I’d want is Dlo leading my team. The guy got hate from the fanbase but that’s because of playoff expectations. The dude can ball, he was like 18/6 last year, and he lead the Nets a few years back and have them the culture that KD and Kyrie so quickly latched on to and ruined. To me, three seconds and Dlo is a lot. Not as in an overpay, but ignoring the asset that Dlo is even in this off year is kinda crazy.

  12. Nah Dlo was good fit next to AD and Lebron(Just not with Ar15 on the floor with him bc of defense), and for some reason he wouldn't show up in games, he be out there but when it's going bad for Dlo it's horrible.
