  1. More great takes Es, couldn’t agree more. None of this is on Darko. And this starting is exactly why tanking doesn’t work by and large. It’s mentally exhausting and eventually it wears on EVERYBODY.

  2. Is there anyone you like for the raps to pick up? I say Koloko, 2025 first and salary filler for Bruce and indianas 2026 pick?

  3. Cant wait for IQ Im really high on quickley hope he comes back strong carves out his place in starting lineup and establish himself as that dawg we need rn 💪😎 ✌🏻❤🏀

  4. and the bubble burst for fans thinking raptors were actually good, when teams were just playing 1 quarter to beat raptors in begining of season. now teams playing focused full games of defence preparing for playoffs and having gelled.

the delusion of a 1 year rebuild for fans is burst. rebuilds are not 1 year events.

  5. I think you're missing the point here.

Darko freaks out at the end of the grizzlies game. Players are laughing , Assistant coaches are struggling to keep a straight face, noone takes him seriously.

They have a long practice. Darko said he wants to see effort.

They come out and commit 5 straight turnovers to start the game. They give THAT performance after everything.

Its not about "is it darkos fault?" Its…they don't care about him. He doesn't have the respect a coach needs to have in the lockerroom. He might have lost the lockerroom completely considering the context of this performance.

Im placing the blame on the players but all in all its a BAD look for darko. A coach needs guys to play for him.

  6. "That is on coaching. To keep the players playing hard."

Darko held the team an extra 80 minutes during the last practice and went to great lengths to describe to the media how the team would play harder during the next game. The result? Another 30 point blowout loss, this time at home against an injured team on the second night of a back to back.

It's wonderful to be empathetic. I wonder if the fan asked to pay the 9th highest ticket prices in the NBA will come up in the conversation about who deserves grace and accommodation during what may be "multi-year rebuild" and may never amount to anything per this video.

  7. Scottie Barnes comes back and raptors started to lose by 30 every game. Is this a coincidence? 😅

  8. The Raptors roster construction needs an overhaul. In order to win, you need shooting, defence, and reliable half-court shot creation and the Raptors have none of that. The staffs knows that they lack a reliable half-court offensive engine so they lean on transition, rebounding, and high difficulty passing. They need more guys like Ja'Kobe in the spot light if this team is going to move in a positive direction.

To be totally honest. It's hard to build around Scottie. Scottie being an inconsistent outside shooter makes team building a more strenuous task, he's a unique player and so he requires unconventional team building strategies that the FO clearly hasn't figured out yet. We still have no idea who Scottie really is, what position do you consider him when you're building around him?

Does a lineup of Quickley, Gradey, RJ, Scottie, Jakob truly coalesce into an impactful team? There's a lack of a wing defender with that starting 5, I don't think RJ will be that guy, Gradey I can see being passable but not lockdown and Scottie is more valuable defensively as the roamer than as an on ball guy. Quickley's defence in Toronto has not been as impactful as he's been in NY and he's coming back from his second injury so his defence is likely to lag.

If they were to trade for someone like Fox a lineup of Fox, Ochai/Ja'Kobe, Gradey, Scottie, Jakob I can see winning more in the east. They need to make a trade and revamp
