NBA been flopping since Reggie Miller, Danny Ainge, etc. To many 3's and they play to much before they even get to the league. They didn't get injured this much back in the day

It can be done by different methods that do not change any of the rules or established things.
Refs just have to go hard on illegal screens, on travelling, ball carrying, double dribbles, etc.
What creates the most open 3pt shots? Illegal screens, someone blowing by their defender and getting another defender to cover and then passing out.
its all because the offense is favored and defenders have to tip toe and play against the refs.
Beat way to stop flopping. Is by embarrassment. Show it to the crowd and on tv, in slow motion with the words like
Flipper spotted.. and have NO ref call for it and just ignore it. The more people laugh at you the more they will stop . Its not money. You have to make them look stupid for doing it
If there's a big difference from 2 pt shots to 3s what's the difference if you make a 2pt shot a 3 then a 3 to 4? It's still only a 1 pt difference. Maybe I'm not understanding lol

I think there is a quick fix from the coaching front, because offense is ahead of defense…. NBA defenses still over-value helping on 2s when they should stay home on play-side shooters. Every game you still see defenses helping one-pass-away when they should only be flashing or tagging or help from the weak-side. Once teams scheme against the 3s better, it would make open mid-range and drives more efficient, and balances out the shot diet.
As for refs, I think there should be a 4 or 5 ref crews, and for them to err on the side of no-calls, unless something is definitive. Then there will be less miss calls and less judgement calls, because there will be more eyes and angles on plays. And they should clearly define the level of contact allowed and be consistent with it.
This is a solution in search of a problem. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with the game. Folks are just bitchin just to have something to say. All the female hate is pathetic as well.

2. stop aggressively load-managing players
3. make it easy to actually access games without a million streaming services (league pass has a TOJ of problems)
Embiid needs to be held accountable. He is an example of what is wrong with the nba. He shoots too many 3s, he flops and he like to load manage . Wemby is a product of his environment ๐
Limit the threes missed to 4 per quarter. You go over the limit and all 3s shot are only worth 2 until the final minute of that quarter.
Might as well get rid of coachโs challenges. They donโt get those calls right anymore anyway.

The issue with NBA is the access to watching the games, silver is a sellout and a typical corporate overpaid and overrated dude in power. The spectacle is good, players are better than ever. Silver is the idiot
Increase competition by allowing physical competition, And allowing trash talk to an extent. Take away defense 3 seconds also. They want offensive movement for more points. Itโs time to limit offensive movement. That 3 point to 4 point logic is asinine. Simply add physicality back and allow trash talk. The game will instantly get interesting
The rest analytics are flawed. If folks that run five or ten miles can run every day. Why canโt NBA players play every other day or occasionally on two consecutive nights? Sports medicine has made milk sops out of pro athletes.

nba needs a group of people to review all fouls after every game and weed out the flops, not the great acting jobs but the blatant flops that ray charles could see and really fine these players. not some slap on the writs bs but an amount that would make em think twice, and to keep it fair dont make it a $ amount, make it fair by making the fine a % of total salary. 1st offence 1% of total salary, 2nd 3%, 3 5%, 4 10% ect.

Maybe actually market exciting young teams. Magic, Rockets, Thunder, Grizzlies, Cavs, etc all need to play on National TV more often. You barely get to see the best teams right now.

Get rid of fhe defensive 3 second rule & bring back illegal defense. Be creative sith the illegal defense rules that makes playing zones impossible go be effective.

I think the simplest way to fix it would be to bring back some form of hand checking, and push the 3 point line back if needed.
Restricting teams to 10-15 threes per game would change a lot. Game would be more physical. And we would stop seeing 38 missed threes like Celtics did last night.
Awesone discussion fellahs. Decreasing the amount of fouls wont happen. More free throws mean more ads. And ads on the side of thre free throw shoota. Its pathetic how money driven the league is. Its should be supporter driven. Not profits for the ownera and the nba. Thats if the want people to love the game again. On that level anyway.
Best thing they could do for this league (even though they wonโt), would be to drop about 20-30 games. Play opposite conference teams only once a year and increase inter-divisional matchups to bring back true rivalries. Also playoffs should go back to best of 5.
